Jean herself didn't seem to react to Phoenix at all. Her body was still completely limp and she was even starting to drool a little as her head rolled around. The tentacles, however, wrapped around her outstretched hand, causing a painful, burning sensation. Some other ones shot out at Flonne, intending to stab her.
Fang manages to destroy seven tentacles, but they grew back just as fast.
OOC: Next group. Also, fight music? Okay!

Venomion dashed and sliced at the tentacles that threaten Flonne. "Fight....or get to cover..." Venomion said rather bluntly to Flonne, as one eye glow a light blue and the other a dark purple. "Either way stay safe ok Miss Flonne" Crystal said aloud to Flonne.

Dokurod sighed. "What is it with a the vanishing? I came here to fight not to play around with stupid little magic tricks!" He muttered, mostly to himself. "Just wait....father...we have...to be...Patience..." Odile said as she took usual position.

Phoenix's face contorted with pain as her hand started getting burned. Phoenix continued to approach Jean until was less or more 1 yard away from her. Phoenix now had both hands outstretched, still trying her best to ignore the pain.

A shockwave erupted from Raven as he instantly sent blades of wind at the tentacles that were attacking the group, with no cast time required. He then launched a series of his healing arrows into the air, each splitting into 3 arrows and homing on to those that were hurt.

Mitsuru summoned her Persona, which attempted to wrap it's long chain around Jean and the tentacles in an attempt to pin them down "Hmph, Godess of diving retribution against those that succumb to pride and arrogance... sure thing." she thought
OoC: Raven is now in overlimit mode, and healing arrows pretty much helped out anyone who was injured, since he shot a lot of them. Won't fully heal serious wounds though

Raven destroyed eight. However, they were replaced just as fast so there were always eight tentacles.
Jean's eyes seemed to regain focus for a moment and looked in Phoenix's direction...but then the tentacles shot out and wrapped around her neck, squeezing and burning her.

Long fang watched the fight. "This is hopeless." He ran forward, doing his best to dodge the tentacles, as he ran closer to Jean, trying to get close to her.

Crystal continued to Sliced and dice at the tentacles, she was chuckling a little to herself. "Why are you laughing at a time like this?" "Oh it's just...these are tentacles....and they do 'something'......like you've seen it before...you know what never mind...." She said grinning.

With the tentacles around Phoenix's neck, she still continued towards Jean, fighting off the pain of strangulation and burns. With Wanderer slash off a few, she breathed in alittle easier.
"Jean... It's Ph[sub]oenix.... I'm right here...[/sub]" she managed to strain out.

Raven had no idea what to do other than attack tentacles, and while in his overlimit mode, he could fling blades of wind at them with no cast time at all, so that's what he did, firing a total of 9 of them, focusing on the ones around Phoenix

Jean's limited amount of life seemed to fade ever so slowly as Phoenix was attacked again. Raven was also attacked.

Long fang watched as the tentacles rotated between targets. Some came to him, and instead of using his claws he fell back on an old style he had been taught to earn the name dancing blades. He pulled a dagger and a smart disc which he held in his hands, swinging them about and catching any tentacles that tried to get near him as he fought nearer to Jean.
The wanderer removed the xuanlong assault rifle, putting a bullet or two into the tentacles still wrapped around Phoenix's throat. "Phoenix, I don't think Jean is going to survive much longer. Make your peace." he then turned to Raven, aiming to knock the tentacles chasing her out.

Flonne considered helping the others fight, but considering that her primary weapon was a Bow, and she would be shooting at thin tentacles, she was worried that she was much more likely to hit Jean than do anything useful. She took out her staff and cast her healing spell while standing near Phoenix, which fixed the burns she'd sustained. Anyone else nearby would also be healed up a bit. Then she retreated further into the ship, holing up in the bridge so she could still watch how the others were doing over the security system. Before leaving, she wished everyone "Good Luck!"

If anyone were still outside, they might notice that it had suddenly become much brighter outside, as if the sun had risen earlier than it was supposed to. There was also a small black speck blocking a portion of the 'sun'.

"Come now brother. Don't tell me you're surprised by this." Nem in a cocky tone as she held The Book in one hand and her weapon in the other.
"I did not want to think you could sink so low." Than replied, his eyes burning with intense anger.
"Sorry to disappoint you." Nem replied, obviously not being sincere. "Why don't we just get on with this." she added.
Than brought out his scythe and spun it once, wielding it easily like it were another part of him. They both charged at each other...
