Varger simply slipped once more into common perception. The fool who had seen him did not suspect anything so he'd leave him as he was for now as he drifted away, looking for a room on the ship that was far away from everyone.
Terra woke up to find herself on a coach with a throbbing headache, and Jean hugging her. She moaned slightly, highly uncomfortable with the fact that someone she barely knew, and not even fully trusted had laid next to her as if they were lovers. Eager to get away, Terra wriggled herself out of Jean her grip and climbed of off the couch, then walked out on the deck to get some fresh air.
*the old man, seeing as most everyone was resting, took out the peculiar instrument from before and started playing a tune while talking to the other One inside*

Yes, they are ... rather young as well. One of them apparently claims to be little over two millennia old ... still but a child though, arrogant and frightful.
Do you think they can do it?
It is possible, they are young but not powerless ... they have potential if they can set aside their petty squabbles, as amusing as they may be.
So you believe the elder beings care ... possible ... at least someone does, or they simply dislike the notion of a mere man holding such power.

Varger looked around. "hear that?" He said in front of him, sure that nobody was nearby. The two shadowy forms appeared again. "I was right, something is up. A breach after a disaster. Thats never happened in my experience." He said to the two shadow forms. Nidhogg for once was silently vocal at least. Varger nodded his head.
"Of course he was lying, it doesn't concern me. I just need physicality. Then we can get this book thing. Technically I'm immortal here so I should be fine." Fenris snarled after he said this.
"Yes I am, I take a hit I simply phase out and return home before the damage is done. Sure it slows me down but its better than dying."
Fenris saw thrugh him however.
"Alright I guess its not better its just more convinient. I'll continue my investigations. You two clear off, Fenris you need to keep a nose open however. If somebody catches me I'll have to resort to memory alteration. What they don't know most definetly will hurt them." With that the shadows dismissed and he began to drift out of the room.

Terra, hearing music unlike anything she had ever heard before, started following the sound, trying to find out where it came from. When it stopped, she looked around, but couldn't find anything. Leaning on the railing of the ship, Terra looked out at sea.
Varger's next target was clear he thought. Anyone who might be knowledgable enough to see through him. The music had faded long agon but he had located the source and now drifted towards it.

I pity the poor soul it chooses but that is of no concern to us.
I just hope it does not do so before this ordeal is over. Its talents in that rather unfortunate state could be of use.

Varger kept his distance, preffering to not bother this juggling man without further observation.

I am not a threat to you and I would prefer it remained that way. I am not prone to hand out threats or to commit acts violence but my friend *he tapped on his head* in there does not quite share my views. I hope we can stay on neutral terms. These daggers may not harm you but this staff most assuredly will *he said as the symbols on the staff started to glow* and the other One *he tapped on his head again* will make sure of it.
I believe you understand the gravity of the situation.

"Use? I will not be used." Varger said ponderously. Varger had however been a mercencary and understood what there was to be gained. If this man wouldn't pry and would return the favour he would hear him out. "Bartering I do understand however. One thing in exchange for another."

I would have little to offer to you, if anything of all. I had hoped that you understood the implications of this situation, alas I was wrong, it would seem your commitment has blinded you.
Should we fail this task, so will you fail yours for there may be no future for existence. The beings of this reality foolishly made a book holding great knowledge and now it is in the hands of that man ... whether he comprehends it or not, the damage he could inflict ... it is unthinkable.
It is perhaps the only thing any of us summoned here could offer you ... a chance to carry on.

Under his hood varger rolled his eyes. "Right lets drop these pretenses then." Removing the sluggishness from his voice. "I'm experienced in stuff like this, however whatever happens to this reality is no concern of me other than that it continues. Thats what my ....sponser declares anyhow." He paused for a second. "I'll do what I can...as long as I can be provided with a single being of great potential, grounded firmly in physicality and strong willed. Don't ask what I need them for just provide me with one and I'll do whatever."
What you do when this is over is of little significance to the task that was set for me ... however you are still do not fully understanding severity of the situation. This disaster does not only have the potential to end this reality but others as well. Whether knowingly or not, he has the power to undo everything.
