Undo everything. Varger doubted that. He didn't want to take any chances, Jormungader perpetuated everything and could do so here if there was anyone left on the planet to create the possibility. He honestly wouldn't mind just having everything end. He'd been so close to dying so many times. nly thing was certain was he needed to acquire what he needed. "Look..." He began. "Reality can't end, not so long as the serpent bites its own tail. I said I would help yet I could do more if I get what I need."

Jacques came up onto the deck and stood out near the bow, one foot planted on the gunwale. He inhaled deeply and smiled, enjoying the salty air and the roll of the sea. He only wished that he knew where they were, but with no charts and a lack of familiarity with the American coastline, he could do little more than trust the helmsman and navigator to guide them.

Serpent? *the old man drifted off for a moment* Ah yes, the concept of infinity
Jörmungandr of the ancient Norse mythology ... the serpent does not hold as much power as he would have you believe ... and there is a end, of that I can assure you ... an end to this cycle. All that is will cease to be, fade into oblivion never to be reborn but it is not yet time.

Varger almost chuckled. He was an example of things that shouldn't be happening. Jormungander had taken his flesh and awoken itself and now trapped him in a half-life, bound in service. That was just his label not his name, Varger had yet to dicover the infinite serpents name.
He noticed others throughout the ship stirring and turned his head. He became sluggish once more. "I must go." He turned around before continuing. "An end is sometimes better than continuing, The Graven would like you very much." He began drifting away.

Terra was still leaning on the railing, looking out at sea, her hair blowing slightly in the wind. Having spent nearly the entire morning gazing off into the distance, she began to enjoy it. The open space, the serenity. Things she never knew before.

Jacques turned away from the yacht's bowsprit, wondering what he could do to pass the time. It was te first time he had ever felt unneeded on board a ship. Seeing Varger drifting away from the old man, he shivered.
"Un fantome de la mer?" He said to himself. "A bad omen, that is. If only we were on the Craquer. I long for its familiarity right now."

*the old man smiled a bit inside, soon however it faded*Yes ... an end would be nice ... an end to this bleak existence of his but the others, they do not deserve this fate.
*he sat down and started playing once more*

Terra looked up upon hearing the music one again. Hey... There's that music again. Where is it comming from? Terra began looking around the deck to see if she could find who was playing the music this time.

OoC: I just realized, with Joe gone, Varger is now the longest lived char on the thread.

Varger glanced up when he felt a gaze fall upon him. He had glimpsed the man before, while dwelling in the perception of others. Hopefully someone else who was a possibility of being his target.

Jacques felt a chill down his spine as the wraith fixed its gaze on him. Reaching up to a leather cord around his neck he withdrew a small, hand carved wooden crucifix from behind his cuirass, the simplicity of the emblem at odds with the splendour of his weapons, armour and clothing, and squeezed it gently for reassurance.

OOC: @Nail Yeah, strange to think of it. Of all characters, who'd have thought Varger would be the last to linger?

OoC @Old Father: No. Longest running. He's been aroud since the begining of WAOA 2.
@Gear: Technically, it's still around. Being immortal and all.

Terra continued looking around, but couldn't find where the music was commong from. [sub]"Odd..."[/sub]

OOC: Varger is only around 179 years old so I doubt he's the oldest. Jormungander has existed since thought has and his sister has existed since matter has.

The man's mistake of assuming he was an evil spirit was ammusing. He began to drift towards the man.

OoC @Gear: Unlikely. Despite this thread being severely lacking in trolldom, I just don't know what to do with it.

Terra wandered around for a bit longer and eventually found Varger floating towards Jaques. [sub]"That thing again..."[/sub]
