Roland sits down next to Moogle and the old man.

"Ka is a word in the High Speech. It... sort of means fate. But it's more than that. It has a clear impact on the world. If something is ruled to happen by Ka, it would happen somehow, regardless of how hard you fought it. It's intrinsically linked to the Tower."

At some point during his meditation, Vergil had fallen asleep. He awoke with a start, grabbing his katana and looking around. He loosened his grip when he calme down, but he didn't let go of it entirley. He put on his coat, and wakled out of the room, his katana held in his left hand.

OoC: For the record, Vergil's katana is called Yamato. I'll be calling it that from now on.

Nearly everyone is in the mansion except for Drake, Predator and some pony. Toa is in the kitchen, I believe and Will, my character, Koromaru and Drifter are on a staircase.

Roland smiles wryly at the old man. "I'd have thought a wise old grey beard like you would have a few words for someone like me, out searching for the Dark Tower."

Ton Ton walked through the forest, taking in the surroundings about him. It was rather nice, with the sunlight streaming between the trees. As he continued, he found himself approaching a mansion, and out of curiosity, entered; his lantern providing all the light he needed.

OoC @Gear: Staircase leading to the second floor.

"I see... I think." 'Moogle' said as she began to pat Koromaru. She then turned to Roland and said, "How odd... I don't think I ever heard of such a thing. But... what's this Tower?"

Twilight found herself coming near a large house, a mansion of sorts. Unlike any she had ever seen. Her curiosity had overridden the sense the caution.

Koromaru barks happily at the old mans speech about fate, with a knowing gleam in his eyes

Vergil explored the mansion for a bit, eventually coming across a staircase. There were other people there, quite a strange gathering of them. Tightening his grip on Yamato, he walked towards them.

Tao ran out the kitchen with a happy look on her face. "Tao doesn't know who owns this place, but they do have REEAALLLYYY nice food! Meow" She said as she ran around the house, looking for something to do.

Ton Ton's inquisitive nature proved to have fruition, as he walked about, he came across a man in a blue coat. With a little wave of the lantern, he called out;

"Hullo."

Roland blinked. She hadn't heard of the Tower? Everyone had heard of the Dark Tower, in one strange tale or another.

"It's... it's sort of like a lynch pin between worlds. A place where they all overlap. There are many floors to it, each connected to a different world. It's said the souls of the dead can be contacted there. But what I need is to get to the room at the top of the Tower. That room controls everything. Absolutely everything. Some say it's where God himself shaped the world."

The horse seemed to be approaching the mansion. The predator worried. it might be like that monstrous lizard from earlier, its size hiding its strength. Imagine all those that could be killed if it proved hostile.. Predator dropped down and revealed himself in front of the horse, which he saw had a strange horn on its head.

Twilight trotted up to the door and politely knocked on it with a forehoof. She had no idea where she was and had no idea of what else to do.

Twilight suddenly turned around and was confronted by a huge armor wearing creature. She gave out a small yelp and her horn began to glow.

She disappeared in a flash and reappeared several yards away.

"wha...what are...you?" She asked, trembling

Tao heard a knocking on the door, she ran towards it and pushed open with her paw. "Helllooo?, Meow" She said to the pony.

Never heard of the tower before but gods ... if only you had seen the things I have.
Beings older than this existence and of immense power but by no means gods.
