Rozalin stood back up and took a moment to compose herself, taking several deep breaths to regulate her breathing, then blew her nose in her handkerchief. Once she believed herself to be capable of speaking respectably, she declared, When I return to my world, I am going to confront my father! I shall locate him, no matter how long it takes, and make him answer for all his time not spent with me!" She turned to face Bryce and Reimu and said, "That has been welling up in me for quite a while now. You have my thanks for helping me get it out. It feels...better, somewhat." Addressing Bryce specifically, she said, "That sounds lovely."

Yukimaru seemed befuddled at Rex. [color=01B7FF]"Wait...that one actually is a human, zam? Or was...or whatever the case may be, zam? I was using her as an example because I thought she actually was a demon, zam. I had no idea that demons and non-demons could act so similar, zam."[/color]

@Salty: As I understand, it's less 'virus animating a dead man' and more 'virus assuming the identity of a dead man'. I suppose you could argue as to whether or not what a sentient virus even has a soul to begin with.

Aisha returned the smile as she finished her sandwich. "Oh well, time to find a place to sleep for the night." she thought aloud.

Then the entire point of telling that story... Was complete and utter bullshit. Ending my practice I inspect my blade again.

"I thought I cut all ties to my home... And yet I still carry thee." I lamented to my Black Rune Sword in a whisper. "I know my purpose. A pure Noxian dream. No underhanded tactics, no trickery, pure strength and will alone make right. I had swore before, and I swear again. I will cleave a new future for Noxus. But with Jericho Swain in command... Let's see where he fits with my vision huh?"

The green runes on the sword glow slightly brighter as I giggle slight and cradle it like a newborn child. Satisfied, I start walking back to the inn.

Bryce nodded. "Well then, lets get going." He resumes his walk to the market.
@Drak "Of course Viruses have souls, what kind of low, speciest propoganda would say otherwise?!

"Shopping?" Marisa said, her eyes lighting up. "Shopping? Can I join you?! I love to collect things."
<color=red>"Marisa, now is not the time. This is for Rozalin." She whispered.
"I know, but it's just like back at that magic shop in the forest. All those interesting objects."

"Be careful what you wish for, Riven."
Majeh crosses his arms. "Is that so...? You made a critical error fighting Alex and now you're infected by his virus."
He eyes the new figure. An enemy? Or just someone with a bad sense of taste?

OoC: @Drak: I doubt a virus would be considered to have a soul in most senses.
@Dirty: Which reminds me, anything concerning this guy, Majeh would sense? Dark power, undead, lack of a soul?

@FPS. The amount of information contained in Human DNA is comparable to several volumes of books. A virus would only contain as much information in its DNA as a single page. I'm kind of with Saltyk on this one. Unless we're talking Andromeda Strain, (like a life form that's not native to Earth)

Rex scratches his head a bit. [color=008888] "Well, she was always the way she is: a sort of cross between a fox and a human. She's human in a sense, but animalistic in others... as I'm sure you've seen." [/color] He adds that last part on with a sigh as he looks back toward Yukimaru. [color=008888] "But I'm sure she's not the most demonic acting thing you've seen. I know of humans in my world who are more of a pain than her." [/color]

Yukino giggles as Riven cradles her sword and carries it away. [color=bb66bb] "Aw~ That's so cuuute!" [/color] Turning to the new man approaching, her smile fades a bit and she puts her hand to her chin. [color=bb66bb] "My, my, new arrivals left and right today, huh?" [/color] Turning to Majeh, she puffs her cheeks a bit and sticks out her tongue making her [color=bb66bb] "Bleeeehhhh~~" [/color] noise.

"I'm already considered dead. Might as well go down in a blaze of personal ambition." I smirked at Majeh, not looking at him. I really haven't made any friends in The League, especially with the Noxian champions. What exactly do I have to lose?

Strange feelings everywhere. Something outside... A person with no soul... Man, this place is weird like Norma! Aisha internally thought as she yawned. "Well... Goodnight Echo!" Aisha said brightly as she hurried off and cloaked in Riven's room, waiting for her.

Majeh sakes his head at Riven.
He shrugs at Yukino. "Hey, I warned you, then, did I not?"

OoC: @Dirty: Are we talking like a Demon? Because Majeh will sense that. And his opinions on Demons are mixed. At best, he's antagonistic without any ill will, at worst, he'll immediately go to kill them.
If he can sense such a thing, though, he might be wary of Majeh...
Which reminds me, @Slenn: I did mention something to you.

"Well goodnight..." Echo muttered, still in a pretty foul mood. She wend back into the lobby area and sat on the couch. Finding her harmonica, look looked down at it mournfully and shed a few more tears.

Rozalin nodded back at Bryce and followed after him. "You can come along if you wish. I do not mind." She said to Marisa, chuckling a little at her enthusiasm. A thought occurred to her that she brought up with Bryce, "I remember that I wanted to ask you about more of those words, some of them you addressed me by. "Di'kut" and "roz'ika", what do they mean?"

Yukimaru nodded to Rex in agreement with his first point. [color=01B7FF]"Well she's certainly not the most demonic being I've seen, [sub]though the two are quite similar in many aspects,[/sub] but like I said, she wouldn't seem out of place in the presence of actual demons, zam."[/color]

Bryce grins. "Ah, di'kut's pretty much 'moron.' Roz'ika is just something you slap on to a name, ika meaning 'little'. It's kind of like calling someone a nickname. Ah, here we are." Bryce said as they came across a market.

OoC @Slenn I think the question of whether collectives constitute souls is the question for Caesar. The whole point of his character is that the collection of cells make the mind, that he develops his thoughts through collective consideration. Alex was an example of a self destructive collective, forming split opinions that killed it.

@Saltyk. Actually, last night I did mention that Marisa was hesitant about asking after you mentioned it. But Majeh was caught up in interrogating the demonic soul.
Also I think I'm going to keep Marisa on autopilot shopping mode. She'll probably gather various crazy things with the gold coins she has. I'm about to go to sleep. After they're done, they'll say goodbye and go back to Gensokyo.

OoC: @All how powerful are your characters?

Well...Royce is a regular old human. He's pretty fit, got some good training, and some okay weaponry, but he's not very powerful. 5/10 if I were being generous (1 being a regular newborn infant and 10 being an immortal, unkillable god).

Blondie is a skilled fighter with his gun(s) and fists, but he's just a regular human with some alright weapons too. So, again, not so powerful. Maybe 4/10.

Echo is a teenage girl who's main magical skill set involves distracting people with lights and hiding herself. She's got some real offensive capabilities, which I have yet to reveal, but she's pretty weak. 3-4/10.

@Dirt: Rex is around a 7/10. He's got decent power, good speed, he generally fights smart since he's a 'cast from HP' type and also giant anti-artillery shots.

Yukino's around a 8-9/10. Strong powers, stupid evasion ability, and her ultimate form let her take out a clan of elite assassins on her own.

Rex nods along. [color=008888] "Right, right. I'm guessing that's why Val was cheering her on today." [/color] Turning toward Yuki, he asks something else to change the subject. [color=008888] "On the subject of demons, how was it like in your world? I mean... what's your homeworld like?" [/color]

 

[Slenn]

Reimu is probably 5/10. She's frail, but she houses a lot of unexplainable power (that's at least how she is in the Touhou canon). Besides being able to dodge extremely well, she's able to fire a lot of powerful spiritual spells. But not all at once of course.

Marisa is probably the same, and for the same reasons. Although her power may have come through intense training, and it's not based around spirituality.
