"Hang on hang on hang on." Jessica said to Tiberius, waving her arms around in the air partly for attention and partly because she wasn't certain if she could put them down yet or not. "We're supposed to kill her on sight? So would taking her back so she could confess be frowned upon?"

Tiberius shook his head in response to Jessica and Vanessa. "No, she has already been sentenced. By escaping and killing a guard, she has proven herself to be too great a threat to take chances with. She is to be killed as soon as she is found. Even risking a trial would be ill advised. She's considered that dangerous. Even if you took her back to confess, they will simply put her down. As a representative of the military, I will have to kill her myself, if I find her. That is what the letter says."

Rex would find a magic training room in the Main Tower. It would negate stray magic, but little else.

"Well, that seems like a big guess. Did you learn anything interesting?" Lucia asked.

"What do you think we're doing right now?" The soldier responded. "And you are doing yourself no favors."

OoC: I find it funny, yet depressing, how Tao of all people has basically become Satan in the eyes of Xiphatia...

"Just some scribblings on how Legaia betrayed God or some such nonsense. I'm just interested in whatever is behind the door. Must be pretty important if it's all sealed up."

@Furi: All because of one mistake too...

After stumbling across the guest rooms and leading the girls to an empty one, he headed to the training room and started practicing combinations on dummies.

Ness paused for a moment as Tiberius spoke. "...I see. Then that's how it is..." She finally replied.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Okay, but would they put her down immediately, or would she have time to confess first?" Jessica asked, seeming to care a significant amount more about Tao's confession than her actual life. Since no one had told her to put her hands down, she was still holding them above her head. She was very grateful that the cuff on her right sleeve was tight enough that her sleeve hadn't slid down yet.

Loki was sitting in the cave, doing nothing in paticular, and not looking all too pleased with that fact.

Farnir had left the cave to go out and hunt.

Elsewhere, Erica was looking over several papers. Alright... So, I'm not going to have any projects for a while, I've paid my tax for this month...? Yes. I've checked in with the college recently... Well, looks like all is settled, I can leave for a bit and not worry about having to rush back. Leaving the living room and entering the bed room, Erica retrieved her satchel and touched her amulet, closing her eyes as she did. She disappeared in a flash a moment later.

In Winterhorn, with a bright flash and a roar of thunder Erica re-appeared in the college grounds, just outside the main tower. I wonder how that girl I met is doing.

Tiberius, looked to Jessica. "They may allow her to confess, but I doubt it would change anything." He thought for a moment. "So, what are you all planning to do with this information?"

Rex would find that the dummies would appear however, he wanted, out of thin air.

"Oh, that must be left over from that old cult that existed long ago. It's even older than Professor Soto, you know." Lucia replied. She thought for a moment. "Or it could be meant to keep something in... Any idea what sort of power source that door may need?"

"Yeah, with an order like that I figured it wouldn't change things for her very much." Jessica replied to the General, putting an odd emphasis on 'her'. "I still feel like I should bring her in alive though." It's got a better chance of helping Vanessa get off easy if they hear it from Tao that Vanessa had nothing to do with breaking her out....And I need to know for sure too...

Envy shrugged "Beats me, I'm not the expert. I can't believe no one has taken a good look at those ruins yet, the things could have ancient super weapons in them for all we know."

Rex cracked his neck as a few large dummies, shaped like mechs were formed. He started swaying around before brutally smashing a majority of them with just his fists alone. As one broke another appeared as he kept going.

Ness sighed a bit. "We still need to find her, orders or not. I'm not fond of the whole eye for an eye treatment... but she does need to be stopped." So I suppose after I do this little errand, they'll throw me into jail anyway on the terms of 'probable cause'. ...But with Tiberius going to begin invading Legaia soon, running's not an option either. Bastards put me into a corner...

"So much for this person making their appearance." Loki idly commented as he stood up and stretched.

After looking around the college grounds, Erica found them to be empty in the early morning. Seems like everyone is asleep at this hour. I wonder how late it is? Turning around, Erica walked towards the main tower, believing that it would be housing the students and staff, not realising there were student dorm behind the tower. As she approached the entrance, Erica heard the noise produced by Rex training.

"Hello?" she said as she entered the tower.

 

[Saltyk]

"That is up to you. I will support you in that endeavor. Though, my hands are tied, if you have any other ideas in mind, I can't help and will have to prevent any attempts to protect her or aide her in escaping." Tiberius stated. "We'll be beginning operations to invade some Legaian Territories. You may benefit in your efforts as a result..."

"Are you a child? It's unlikely there is anything beyond dust in those tombs. But I can do nothing to assist you if, I don't know anything about what I may be looking for. I can't provide energy without a concept for what would be required." Lucia replied.
"Beside that ruin is thousands of years old, it may even predate our nations. No one has ever found a way inside that I know of."

OoC: @Dot: Vanessa gets exactly what they had in mind. Don't forget the tracking device, though.

Ness just sighed as she walked toward the car and sat down to think. "Thank you for the support, General." How the hell do I prove my innocence now? Would they even give me a trial? I have an alibi, but then again, they could just bullshit the entire thing.

Rex stops momentarily as he hears Erica call out. "Yo. Kinda late, right?" He calls out to her as he goes back to continue. Erica might hear the sound of thunder crashing as Rex continues on.

Envy glared at Lucia, then regained his composure "The ruins on the outside have remarkably little damage to them, and the door itself is virtually impossible to break down, I hardly think its a stretch to assume whatever is inside is still sound. Is there any way of getting you a concept for what you need?"

Bryce slides into the car with Vanessa, nodding to himself. "So, how does that ring work exactly?" He asked, keeping his tone neutral.

Nybeth was in his cave in the mountains once again, having left the Defense Base when he felt it no longer worth his time to stay there. The foul stench coming from his cave seemed strong enough that it was impossible to ignore if one were nearby, and would likely be carried a decent distance by the winds.

With Jessica's left arm having gotten tired she had no choice but to lower it and hope nobody stabbed her or set her on fire over it. She walked over and sat down next to Ness and put her left arm over her shoulder. "It's alright. I think if we can bring Taokaka in alive and get to confess to you not helping her get out, then it should help your chances." She said, trying to comfort Ness.

@Dirty: Not much really.
@Salty: Seriously? Man, both sides are just nothing but complete assholes, aren't they? I'm starting to think Nybeth would be totally justified in [redacted] everyone. At least, all the government folk anyway.

 

[Saltyk]

"Sorry. If you had come to me before this happened, I could have helped." Tiberius said as he went back into the base.

"Well, tell me if you see any sort of device or circuit. Or take a picture. Something like that would help." Lucia responded.

OoC: @Dot: Not entirely. There is hope, but honestly... Tao is pretty much screwed...
@Drak: Hey, I wanted the players to feel justified no matter which side they supported, but also realize that no matter who you do aide, they are not saints.
Can you make the world a better place? Or will you make it even worse? That is the ultimate question.

"A shame. I would have hoped to elighten another person, to serve as our eyes and ears elsewhere." Loki said as he made his way towards the exit of the cave. "It is to late to set out right this instance, but I aim to do so when dawn breaks. I dare say we have had our fill of caves. I, for one, could do with sleeping in a bed once more."

"I'm not sure what time it is. Where I came from, it's late in the morning." Erica answered as she walked into the room further, but keeping a safe distance from Rex to avoid getting hit accidently. Hearing the sound of thunder, Erica tilted her head slightly as she watched Rex, but didn't say anything about it yet.

OoC @Dirty: Loki and Rita are in their cave. Erica just appeared in WInterhorn.

Rita started walking towards Loki when she smelled the smell from Nybeths area "Hey... do you smell that? ...I think it's that guy I was telling you about... he was trying to dissect that tentacle thing before, I wonder if he found something new..."
