Outside the hotel, Montreal, Canada - Some time after midnight
Ella looked behind herself, at the chaos on the street.
"Yeah, we can talk later. Tell the guards at the portal station to call me when you're ready." She said, seeming a bit distant.
"You've got my permission to open a portal and bring somebody over to help you carry his body, we're going to have our hands full here." She looked down at the agent at her feet, then over at Red;
"Oh, and fair warning? We've encountered this organisation before. They're very dangerous. Hopefully they can't reach your dimension, but if they do? Well, good luck."
She waved over the two troopers and ordered them to take the Forefront agent into the Skyranger when it landed, and that their whole squad was to accompany him to the extradimensional prison situated up north on an island in the dangerous Arctic ocean.
"Consider him extremely dangerous, and be constantly vigilant about escape or rescue attempts. I'll try to get you a fighter escort, if possible."
The medic sighed and stopped attempting to heal Vyse,
"Figures." - She grumbled as she began to bandage Vyse up instead, instructing the sniper to keep pressure on the wounds to slow the bleeding.
Finally, with the utterly insane danger subsiding, regular police and ambulances arrived on the scene. Ella then called her boss, feeling very tired all of a sudden. She waved off a medic who tried to discern if any of the blood on her was her own.

Washington, D.C. - Afternoon ~ midnight. March 4th ~ March 5th
The XPOL Superintendent for the US agreed to take over the case of the rift anomaly in Waltham, and promised that two more XPOL agents equipped with specialised equipment would be sent there as soon as possible. The two agents were soon on their way in a large truck filled with portal equipment ordinarily considered stationary.

Ottawa, Canada - Some time after midnight
The superintendent had been quiet and calm during Ella's report on the events, hearing in her tone that she didn't need any more loud noises tonight. As soon as he hung up, he leaned back and swore. He then called his superior, the XPOL 'Red' Sector Chief, who was less considerate. The Chief was an old military officer, who had served in XCOM during the last years of it's existence. He'd been kept on as he was an efficient and experienced coordinator, but he did long for the old glory days when XCOM could act however it liked, so long as the Eddies (A term that had fallen out of favour due to negative connotations) were kept in line.

Tokyo, Japan - Not long after
The Commander sat at his desk, with a fresh report from Canada at his desk. This was an unexpected development, and the response required careful planning. Perhaps it was time for a new organisation, something that could act with fewer... restrictions than the tightly regulated XPOL. Something to take the fight to the enemy, to put the numerous enemies of Earth on the defensive...
