The closest thing to a weapon i have in my room is an african cattle whip, a leatherman knife and a rather heavy keyring i could use as a brass knuckle.

(Edit: wuh-oh, i've gonzo'd up)

My entire room is a weapon. The ceiling is rigged to collapse, furniture is just waiting to start on fire, the floor is a massive spike strip. If those fail then my "replica" spiked mace might do the job.

Any of my 4 paintball guns. They don't really hurt, but a shot (or 200) to the face might do some damage.

How do you even get in to your room without dying?

None really, unless you count the fact that there's a broken bit of metal under my bed that is very sharp and can be used as a weapon.

I'll remember that. But how are you better than other dangerous guards? I'm not convinced yet...

I am unsettled by the number of people who keep deadly weapons within arm's reach of their bed.
I would improvise with a stone paperweight, or a set of mini-screwdrivers.

Personally, keeping "weapons" handy made the monsters under the bed or in the closet laughable. I guess it just stuck. Plus I basically live in a studio apartment so everything is my bedroom and I like collecting weapons...
