Well, in terms of a creepy obsession, I always make sure the knives on the knife rack in the kitchen are arranged neatly by size and brand name. I'm a well-balanced individual, I swear!

The only phobia I have is looking out my window at night and seeing anything at all looking back. Agh. My cat sits on the outside windowsill sometimes, waiting to be let in, and if she's sitting the right way, all I see are her eyes glowing in the dark. There's always a split second of abject terror before I realize it's just my dumbass cat.

I have a weird obsession with making sure my curtains are in a specific way, and I can "sense" if they're in the wrong place. It's kind of hard to explain but if someone touches my curtains I really freak out.
I absolutely hate it when people touch my blinds! It really annoys me and I'll end up having to rearrange them so they're facing the same way and are closed perfectly so no light goes through.

Yeah, I have a lot of compulsive habbits, but I'm a compulsive with everything. Its like when people talk about the fact they have 10 000 songs on their ipod- I don't understand that because I like the same songs and only listen to the same ones. Its quite rare that I find more music that I like, and its usually one song at a time.

I'm obsessive about walking on tile. I have to be extra careful to not step on any cracks.

As for phobias, I'm scared of people holding knives. I love collecting and using knives, but when people hold knives around me it freaks me out. Guns are fine, but not knives :/

Also, fucking spiders. That is all.

You know the Rainforest Cafe? The one that has the interior decorated so that it's full of trees, has a huge fishtank in the middle, and is filled to the brim with animatronic animals?

Yeah, I won't take a single step into that place.

I haven't been able to go in since I was a little kid. I don't know why, I don't have a problem with any other animatronics, but something about that restaurant just scares the living shit out of me to this day.

I have a phobia of loud noises, especially if they come without warning. I can't even be around balloons too long without feeling extremely tense until I have an actual panic attack until the balloons are in another room or at least far enough out of sight that I start to forget they're there. I get especially nervous with nearby thunder storms.

Me I have to count constantly all times of the day and i have to keep looking at corners of things. also i have to rub off dried or dead skin and eat it. also i have to rub off the natural body oils on my body or i feel dirty. also i have to blink in certain patterns. I also have a phrase in my head i could never get rid of for years and i still have it. i also have to crack my fingers and toes constantly. I cant think of any more of my ocd symptoms. But im not exaggerating those really are my OCD. For anxiety i am scared of heights, crowds, people i dont know, justin bieber and rebecca black. and cod and wow players. maziecat I have a lot of those too D: From
need to have all my files on my computer very neat and organized
Down that's me too D:

I remembered another one. I do like proper grammar. And if someone pisses me off, I take much glee in correcting their oft poorly constructed comments (most people who disagree with me are morons, except YOU (You being whoever is reading this)).

My phobia is that someone will see error in a correcting post that I made to them and be corrected myself. Hasn't happened yet but that's probably I check those special posts for like, half a hour to make doubley sure.

Odd. My first FPS O.C.D must be 1 shot less than a full clip at all times.

I can't sleep when there are any LED lights on (for example a TV on standby) I've tackled this issue by covering the lights with sticky tac :D.

I find it difficult to sleep without a constand sound (for example: bathroom fan)

ALL my songs on my iPod have album artwork applied and all have 100% volume applied to them.

When I'm at school the edges of a table have to be in line with each other.

This is more so a sensible thing but I have everything on my computer in folders nothing is loose and not organized.

that's pretty much it. I'm generally a crazy person.

If I scuff the side of my leg a shoe while walking, I have to scuff the other leg or I feel off balance. This sort of 'balance' issue applies to a lot of things, like if I nibble my lip in thought and bite it a little too hard to the point it hurts, I sometimes do the other side to so I don't feel off balance.

I've also got claustrophobia - only, I don't feel threatened in small spaces in general but when my arms are pinned to my sides. Then I go from zero to absolute freakout in about 0.3 seconds.

As it turns out, I'm disgusted/terrified of all bugs. I don't really know why, and spiders terrify me almost to the point of being unable to function. I deduced that little fact from a few days ago when I opened a cabinet in search of snacks, and there was a spider just chilling there on the inside of the cabinet, right next to my face. It took a few seconds for my brain's 'GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM IT! NNGGYYYEAAAAHH!' to register to my legs.

Also, I can never have any blinds open at night. It bugs the crap out of me, but it's not necessarily fear.

I'm afraid of loneliness, which really sucks because I'm an introvert. Also, snakes, honestly anything that slithers around like that...

I'm completely OCD about my books. I have to have them in order from largest to smallest and I don't let anyone borrow them, especially after my dad's wife borrowed my copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and it came back with water stains on the pages and the cover was all bent around the edges.
And I'm terrified of frogs and toads, I have no idea why. There was one sitting in front of the door to my apartment complex and it took every ounce of self-control I had to not scream and to step over it to get inside.
I'm not targeting you in particular, but I thought I'd nip this in the thread early if I could. That's not OCD, that's OCPD. Obessive Compulsive Personality Disorder is about having everything perfectly tidy or sorted a certain way.

Obessive Compulsive disorder is about having intrusive thoughts (the obession) and having to perform an act (the compulsion) to stop them, such as the simple thinking the door is unlocked and having to check it, or a bit more complex, like having an unwanted sexual thought and having to say a prayer to dispell them. Some can get quite bizzarre like switching on lights a certain way to stop a spouse from dying.

It's a bit confusing but with one letter, there's a huge difference between the two.
Yeah, I have a mild case of OCPD that my parents helped me keep in check since I was a little kid. Didn't even know I had it until they told me after college and told me how they helped me deal with it. OCD, the other kind, runs in my dad's side of the family, so my parents kept an eye out for it with me and found I had OCPD instead, albeit a very small manifestation of it.

As for fears/phobias, I am absolutely deathly afraid of doctors' needles in a BIG way, but only if I know they're meant for me. Though really it extends to anything invasive a doctor wants to do to me. I have a massive personal space bubble, so I get uncomfortable whenever someone touches me unexpectedly, even if it's a nice, pleasant touch, but that just makes unpleasant touch, such as getting jabbed with a needle, absolutely terrifying. I CANNOT do it. What's even worse is the way I react. Instead of passing out, which I hear is what happens with most people with needle-phobia, I go into full panic mode and instinctively fight it to the death or flee. And I can't control it. It just happens. I'm not afraid of doctors or dentists if I know they're just going to do regular check-up kind of stuff, but the moment a needle comes out, only one of us is leaving that exam room. And I wish I was kidding.

I've got a few, but nothing too major. I have to check repeatedly to make sure that the TV and my PS3 are turned off. I also need to check my alarm a few times to make sure that I have it set to the correct time. Sometimes on Saturdays I repeatedly check the calendar on my phone to make sure that it's not actually a weekday and I'm actually supposed to be at high school. Before I can actually quit a game, I have to save 2 or 3 times to make sure that I didn't lose anything. And I repeatedly check to make sure that there is both food and water in my dogs' bowls before I go to sleep. I guess I'm just generally obsessed with making sure that I didn't leave anything unfinished or undone. My only phobia is one day finding out that none of my friends actually like me, and are just pretending to for shits and giggles. (But if I ever start to think about this for more than about 90 seconds, I realize how stupid it is and then I move on to something else) None of these things interfere with my life too much though, so it's fine.
