I started out with a Yugi deck. No one at my school actually played by the rules though and it was two years later when I went to tournaments that actually took skill to win. Now... oh jeeze you make me want to bring my deck to college and see just how much a two year old deck will get creamed nowadays.youkokitsune said:that as a girl i couldnt learn yugioh on my own....right
let me set this straight
1)i am a girl
2) yes i play yugioh
3) i started when i got two decks on discount (one yugi, one kiba) when the game first came out. up to this time wed been passing my GB color back and forth at lunch and gone through about $45 in AA batt, so i needed something new to fill our time.
Now im at a big tourney, i just beat this guy.... badly. and he says
"Whoa, you play this good! i need to meet the boyfriend who taught you how. That would be a real challenge"
thankfully someone with him read the death glare i gave the speaker correctly and kept him out of my way for the rest of the day
I empathize.unoleian said:People always seem to assume I'm deadly serious about everything for some reason.
I got this just the other day, one of my brothers friends mentioned it like it was casual thing to assume.Serioli said:I have a light build and on two seperate occasions people have assumed I'm an addict/junkie.
Just wondering since I live in Hawaii now, and you wear all black, people tend to stare at you weirdly.Aby_Z said:That makes for an awesome story either way.mrhappyface said:Doesn't it get hot though? Best I've got is people thinking I'm either a Freshman (I still don't get their logic) or Emo (Just because I wear all black doesn't make me emo...)![]()
And surprisingly, no. It's perfectly fine in the winter as things tend to balance out, but so far now that it's getting hotter the only thing that's bothered me is my black jeans, which I recently switched out for my black shorts. I still wear a T-shirt (usually black but I switch it to a featureless green/red every now and then.) and my black jacket and feel normal all
day.
I don't think I've ever gotten an odd stare, just people ask every now and then if I'm emo.mrhappyface said:Just wondering since I live in Hawaii now, and you wear all black, people tend to stare at you weirdly.Aby_Z said:That makes for an awesome story either way.mrhappyface said:Doesn't it get hot though? Thta was a very awkward day when a kid who I thoguht was gay told me he thought I was.
Both of us like women... a LOT as I found out later.
I get called emo all the time, damn this accursed black hair! And people oftentimes think I have a temper problem, because I'm a tad short. -sigh- Whatever.Aby_Z said:That takes the cake, buddy...

I was called emo a lot more before I decided to just go with a buzz cut. Sometimes I miss my long hair but this buzz is just so much more convenient! Black hair is quite fun though; it helps me to fit in with the rest of my attire.Tinneh said:I get called emo all the time, damn this accursed black hair!
