Dolphin hasn't been done yet.
Gilamonter hasn't been done...
Hm... neither has Platypus.
Dilapasaurus (with InGen added poison spitting action for shits and giggles). \
Anything from the raptor family. I know they did something off Archyterypx (spelling is way off) but nothing more Deinonychus or Velociraptor-like.
there isn't even a T-Rex or a Triceratops Pokemon yet. here?
The closest thing to a dolphin is Gorebyss [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/368.shtml].
Gila monster: Scraggy [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/559.shtml] and Scrafty [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/560.shtml]
Platypus: many don't count Psyduck, but Golduck [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/055.shtml] certainly is. Ducks have wings, not webbed fingers.
Closest raptor-esque is Gabite [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/444.shtml], Garchomp [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/445.shtml] or Haxorous [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/612.shtml]
T-rex: Tyranitar [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/248.shtml]
Triceratops: Aggron [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/306.shtml], maybe Terrakion [http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/639.shtml] (not quite, but close enough)
I wouldn?t necessarily count Gorebyss as a Dolphin. I always thought it was more like a sea-snake like its nearest relative from the same generation that was the alternate evolution of the pre-evolved form (fuck me for not knowing the name right now).
I didn?t think Scraggy family was very Gilamonster because Gilamonsters are poisonous lizards. While we have the latter part down, I don?t see it being very poisonous. I won?t make a big deal of this one, but I find your selection questionable
True, I don?t count Psyduck but I don?t know if I can count Goldduck. Tail isn?t quite there and, again, lack of the platypus? poisonous traits. But this one is a toss-up really.
Garchomp is referred to as a land shark. Also, it seems much too large to represent any raptor-esque dinosaur. I?m probably being picky here, but I think that we can get more raptorness from a Pokemon.
Tyrannitar is no T-rex. Head is way too small and arms are way too big. I get we aren?t going for exact replicas, but we at least need to get the biggest traits right. I always thought of Tyrannitar as more of a Godzilla-ish Pokemon.
And Aggron seems, to me, to just be a Metalic version of Rhydon. Granted, it has the three horns and frill going for it, but while its previous evolutionary stage (name slipping me) looks very much like a protoceratops, I?m going to continue my dinosaur-pickiness with this. Terrakion is a much closer adaptation, but of a different member of a ceratopsian family. So I?ll let that be a pass, but I don?t like it.

Hm... further research shows that there isn't even a T-Rex or a Triceratops Pokemon yet. The fuck is taking them so long? We got to prehistoric plants before the two big hitters? Where the fuck are the priorities here?
are you kidding? there are loads of T-rex pokemon! tyranatar is the only one i can name, cuz i've stopped playing them from 4th gen onwards. but i know of two more that were released in the latest batch[/quote]
As I mentioned above, Tyrannitar seems more like Godzilla-ish than actual T-Rex. But lemme look at Gen-5 list to see if any were actually added?
? Bulbapedia has a few close ones, but I argue against Tyrannitar and Zekrom is? not really something I would count since its one of those bizarre legendary things. Sorry, but I see no true-blue Tyrannosaurus Rex.
