OT: They haven't done a cheetah, and they haven't done a falcon as far as I can remember.

I can't really remember seeing a spider or a sea cucumber.
Red Roark said:Yeah, I get that, but I want to see a Pokemon that is an actual spider. Spinrak is not. We have Angler Fish, Lanturn.Shoggoth2588 said:Hm...well maybe we should count plants and minerals too since Pokemon has been doing both for a long while now. As for animals, I don't think they've done an Orangutan yet. I think they also skipped Sphinx, Trolls, characters of the Hiragana and, Katakana alphabet, Angler fish, mosquitoes, horseflies, horse shoe craps (Kabuto is not one)...That's all I've got though...
Giant bipedal Chicken.Volan said:I can only think through the first two gens, but the more unlike-lies I'll nominate are a squid, Kiwi, parrot, rabbit, sharks(?), chickens/hens, zebras, tigers, centipede, dingos, leeches.....that's the extent of my current knowledge.
Let me know if those have actually been done in the more redundant series.
I don't know if Darmanitan is much of an orangutan...I can kind of see it though...Shinx always struck me as being more of a cat and, Conkelldor as a humanoid. As for Kabuto, I always saw it as a trilobite considering your find it as a fossil...shedra said:We have Angler Fish, Lanturn.Shoggoth2588 said:Hm...well maybe we should count plants and minerals too since Pokemon has been doing both for a long while now. This could be argued to be an Orangutan.

Shinx is named for but has limited characteristics with a sphinx.

Is this a troll?

Why is Kabuto not a horseshoe crab?
He just needs a tail. Diglett doesn't even have limbs but it's called a mole.

Oh come on, most of the pokemon trainers seem to underage, the pokemon world would have collapsed by dinnertime if pedo bear turned up!Danceofmasks said:Oh c'mon .. if that counts, then I wanna Pedobear.TheAztec said:I'm pretty sure they haven't done ManBearPig...
In mythology, the Sphinx is known as a highly intellegent creature, asking riddles of it's victims before murdering them. I would assume an actual Sphinx would be a psychic type instead of an electric. I could be wrong thoughshedra said:...Shoggoth2588 said:-snip-
Yeah okay you're right about Kabuto.
Isn't a sphinx a cat with a lady face? Shinx just needs that, you know, the most defining feature on a sphinx.
Trolls are vaguely human shaped aren't they? I'm stretching a bit.
they are getting more creative be glad it actually works.prince_xedar said:they are really running out of ideas, i mean Trubbish?
