Bouncing back between 3 different games over the last week or so.

Monster Rancher 4 - if you like creature raising games at all this is an awesome game. Currently raising my third set of monsters, and recently got an awesome gadget that's shooting up my monster training to new heights(the wind drum for anyone who has the game).

Katawa Shoujo - I went into this game thinking it'll be a nice little time waster and to see why everyone was praising this game so much. After going through my first playthrough(ended up taking Emi's path as my first) I saw how well written this game is and felt really connected to the characters. Hell, Emi even got me to start a morning running routine :p

Star Wars: The Old Republic - as a Star Wars nerd and an MMO fan this was a game that would have to be absolutely terrible to make me not like it. Luckily since it's so good it's making me love it even more. My two main characters are a Sith Marauder and a Jedi Sage, and I'm having a blast with both of them.

Portal. I've been off and on playing it for a while.

Shadow of the Colossus. I'm more re-playing this since its out in HD now. I beat it on my PS2 and was working on a run through in hard mode but I'll do that once I finish my first run. I'm currently running around collecting lizards and fruit and temples. Getting as much done as I can before the final colossus. I'm only at 3 colossi defeated and about 10 hours in running around.....yeah I kind of like exploring....and the atmosphere of the game.

for some reason it crashes when I try to leave Vault 101.
I might pick up Katawa Shoujo.
I should also get around finishing Kanon.

I'm trying to grind through all the achievements for Final Fantasy XIII-2, even though the game is doing its best to prevent me from doing so.

Dragon Age II. I put it off for a while because so many people said it was awful, but I recently picked it up, and I absolutely love it! I think I even like it more than the first one. :)

The Jak and Daxter collection. I've just beaten the first game within the span of a few hours. And now I'm playing the second game.

I find it kind of funny how jarring the mood between the two games is. First game is a colorful and rather light hearted. The second game is sorta gritty and dark.

Half-Life 2 and Fable 2

I would probably be playing Portal 2, Civ 5 or City of Heroes if I felt like updating them and capping my internet. Also thinking of getting into LA Noire. I stopped playing for some reason on my first 2 attempts, but I really want to get the most out of the 112 bucks I paid for it.

Lately, I've been jumping between Skyrim, Terraria, and Bastion. They're good, and they're just what I've been in the mood for. I'd be playing even more Skyrim, but the 1.4 patch isn't out on PS3 yet and the lag's been killing me. Quite literally, in fact, as my last battle turned into a neat little PowerPoint presentation that ended with a slide of my character being eaten by a dragon. :p

I've been playing an old mech combat game, Mechwarrior Mercenaries :D
I was skeptical at first since I was told it's like an FPS only with mechs, but once I got a hang of the controls and fixed some to my liking, it was actually quite fun.
There's a pretty wide variety of mechs to choose, from itty bitty combat suits to big old assault rigs. It has less environments, but the arenas are challenging when you play with friends. Definitely more fun when a friend is hosting a game and you can charge your mechs at each other in teams.
It's an older PC game that is made by MekTek and it's totally free for download on the internet.

First stop Saints row the third. My third playthrough, I just find the missions epic and game as a whole tons of fun. Hell, Ive done absolutely everything I could possibly do, 100% yet I still play it. Something about that game just keeps me coming back.

Team Fortress 2. Been playing since 2007 really, its my "regular" game. I have a server I usually play on, and I am well known for being an awesome medic. As well as my unusual hats (cauldron bubbles grimm hatte and ghosts blighted beak). Just enjoying the game as a whole, and refining my medic skills, think of doing some competitive play in the near future.

Super Monday Night Combat(beta) Actually having a blast with it, and its free, so you guys should give it a try also. It has dota style gameplay mixed with third person combat. Pretty fun game, although dont really like how you have to have heavy teamwork.

I'm playing Kingdoms of Amalur and am intermittently playing Dungeon Siege 3.

Amalur: So far, really liking it. I played the demo and it was like the Fable 2 I always wanted but never got. And that seems to be about accurate. It's a solid game.

Dungeon Siege 3: It's more fun than I was expecting. I'm an Obsidian fanboy, so felt compelled to give this a shot. It's too repetitive and narratively uninvolving for extended playthroughs, but I can pick it up once or twice a week for some quick fun.

And I'm playing Team Fortress 2 (still). The Meet the Pyro announcement got me excited, since that's what I main as. No, I'm not a W+M1. I'm a Flame->Poof->Flare Pyro. I light you up, send you flying back, and flare crit you before you land. I looked up my stats and 40% of my kills are from flares. I started contributing to a clan server recently because the people on it are super-friendly and fun to play with, so I've been on it a lot more than usual as of late.

Edit: I forgot about Chrono Trigger. I play it in my car in-between Medical Terminology and Microbiology on Mondays and Wednesdays. I have nearly three hours to kill between classes, so just lounge in my backseat and read, play a game on the DS, or study.

Just finished Xenoblade Chronicles and the day I before I started playing that I finished Skyward Sword, at the moment I am not playing any game.

Xenoblade Chronicles:
I only played the main story even thou there are loads and loads of side quests and stuff to do. I never really experimented any with the game as characters can interact a lot etc, there's a lot more to the game than just the main story and I really enjoyed the game even if it took about 15 hours before I understood everything in the game and I learned something new all the time while playing.
The only minus I really can come up with was the cutscenes, some of them were way too long. Some of them I didn't matter because they were like anime battles after defeating a boss and some were pretty crucial to the story as they explained history of the universe etc but some were just ranodm mumbling about defending your friends which they had done already 5 times in the game.

Skyward Sword:
My new favorite Zelda game.
Seriously loved the game and the way the story was new. Zelda actually plays a role in this game, the twist with her guardian. The new villain, Gihrahim (or how it's spelled), is in the top of my villain list, loved him. How you can pull pararells to continuity in the zelda universe from the Final Boss to earler games like OoT, MM etc if you want to was also a nice touch. Can't say there wasn't much I didn't like about the game.

trying to beat the final boss in dark souls and my god he is hard, started playin DOW retrubution after sitting in my library four about half a year.
If you're still having some trouble, and you're decent with parrying, I've found that when he swings once, half of the time, the sword will be to YOUR right, and he'll raise his other hand for a 2-handed swing. If you press RT/R2 as soon as his other left hand touches the hilt, you should parry the attack. It still takes a while to kill him, though. I had a Black Knight Sword +5, and it still took me 6 or 7 riptoses to kill him.
i managed to kill him yesterday through the combination of iron flesh, havel's armour and sunbro solaire.

Dragon Age : Origins.
I must say i'm deeply disappointed. I expected spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate Saga and all i got was one big, predictable, cliched remake of NWN2. I'm still shocked. :|
A remake of NWN2? that statement makes no sense to me. I honestly can't see how you could feel that way. I do agree that neither are as like Baldur's Gate that I'd hoped, but they were different in different ways.
Well, both games share too many similarities for my taste. Scenario, course of action, classes, micromanagement... IMHO DA should be called NWN3. :)
I suppose I can see where you're coming from...

Also, I really wish they did another forgotten realms game instead of making a new IP with Dragon Age. I would have enjoyed it much more, even if it was the same basic story with the same origins and all that.

I just love the forgotten realms setting.
