Yeah I agree. I'm an opinionated arsehole, but if I have someone who ASSURES me that their 'movie' is the 'best thing ever' then I will give it a whirl. If it's as good as they say, great! If it's not, that's also good because then I can kick their arse about it.

However, I don't care if Mr. Obama and Han Solo THEMSELVES came to assure me that any of the "(Genre) Movie" series was good. I would ignore them and possibly enact phsyical violence upon them.

I never hate films, because any film I don't like I don't watch more than once. The last two were -

Burn without Reading - Even parodic films have to have a damn plot. After an hour of watching Brad Pitt play an idiotic frat-boy trainer and George Clooney smirk smugly for his money instead of doing some damn acting I'd had enough

Cloverfield - How many times can you hear the same bloody characters say "Oh my god!"? Let's summarise this shall we? A monster attacks New York for no reason. Lots of little monsterlings infest the place. A monsterling bite turns you into a monsterling. All the main characters die before you can give a damn about them. The monster apparently dies off-screen at the end. That's IT. £6.00 well wasted

It attacks New York for no reason 'cause it came flying down in a meteor from space.

A monsterling bite makes you explode not turn into one of 'em.

Only one died if I remember right? The rest went on and saved the person they were wanting to save, then indeed at the end they all died. The monster never dies, at the end of the movie it just shows 2 of the "main" characters in a park. If you look closely, you'll see an asteroid falling down into the sea.

I work at a blockbuster and it really makes me question humanity's intelligence and decision making abilities... a lot of shit comes out every week the top rented films are something like: Private Valentine, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Twilight, Punisher: War Zone while movies like Seven Pounds, Slumdog Millionaire, Bolt, and the re release of Pinocchio go greatly unappreciated

Of the movies I've seen?

Dungeons & Dragons, which even my impressionable and bright-eyed 12 year-old self watched and noted, "...that really sucked!" Looking back, Jeremy Irons is the best part of that movie. He at least seems to be having fun (I will admit liking the human-elf age gap joke, though).

Also, Grease. Primarily because I absolutely hated the ending hooray, they're back together! And all that happened was...she had to start smoking like a chimney and dressing like a streetwalker...yeah.

I really like them. Well, the second is pretty shite, cos you WANT everyone to die, but I enjoy all the others.

Vampires vs.Zombies.... I seriously became my own standard of retarded after watching this movie.

Jeepers Creepers! "Oh god this guy is trying to kill us! lets go in his basement and see if he killed anyone else! Ah! it just so happens he killed our friends that went missing last year... lets not mention it again for the rest of the movie!"

Jeeper Creepers 2... it was on TBS when nothing else was on at all in the middle of a blizzard... So basically... "lets show justin long for a whole 4 seconds, and then have the monster attack a school bus... look! we defeated him by tearing him into lots of little pieces... no one will ever be stupid enough to put him back together. Oh wait... someone did, and they think a harpoon will kill him when he wakes up.

Terminator 3. I hear they're making the 4th one as an apology for the 3rd one.

Oh boy where do I start....Any of the Saw movies, Final Destination movies, anything by Uwe Boll, any movies by the same people who make the Epic, Date, or Disaster movies, Twilight, The Fast and The Furious movies,(Except for maybe the 2nd one, I enjoyed that one a little but I can't remember why)any movie with Jason Statham in it,(I can't stand that man) any movie that has a WWE wrestler in it, (I don't think they can really act) Top Gun. I know I have more but I cant remember them but I'll post more when I remember. Oh and I was going to put up the Resident Evil series because of how they deviated from the games but that's Hollywood for you.
