What did you want to grow up to be as a child?

well when I was at then end of my time in highschool I went to the guidence office to make sure everthing was inline for university and then she checked my file she pulled out pictures of me from every year I was in school (the mandatory one you get each year) and a picture I drew in kinderkarten saying I wanted to be a fireman.

3-5 years old - A train (I liked Thomas the Tank Engine okay)
5-7 years old - Palaeontologist (Dinosaurs!!)
7-9 years old - Astronaut
9-13 years old - An author
13-15 years old - A doctor
And right now I'm studying Nanotechnology at university

Same here, but my fascination was sparked by Jurassic Park. I totally wrecked our VCR tape of it, played it so many times. I was the first kid at school who could actually spell the word.

After I started reading kid's science books and started watching Discovery Channel, astronaut was my little kid's dream.
