stemming from my belief that no such place exists, i think hell is just our imagination, so everybody would have their own personal hell.

I live 1 hour away from Hell actually. It's kinda boring there, but their hotel is great for conferences and such. Had the best meal of my life there.

Also, it's always cold there. Even in the summer.
Darn, I was going to post that ;)

Funny that.

Also several places in Norway called "Helvete" which means Hell in English :3

Seeing how I do not agree with Christianity and what it stands for (or any other religion for that matter), I would expect hell to be a pretty awesome place if it existed. Heaven is meant for those faithful servants who want sing all day Christian songs and be abstinent. So I expect hell to be one big party forever!
This reminds me of a fun song. :D

A Plane of infinite size, that is pure white. Just a huge white floor and a white sky. With just yourself, alone naked, for all eternity.

Like a never ending pile of paper work.... and if you're interesting enough ironic punishments.

I don't think it will look like anything, seeing as Hell is an human invention and it's existence is purely based on imagination.

So any discussion on what it would look like is completely futile, since it doesn't exist.

The thread seems to me to be just a bit of fun. I don't see why you need to bring the same, tired argument to the table.

Anyway, I think Hell would just be rather boring. Like waiting in a line. Forever. That'd suck.

Personally I imagine it as a Zdzislaw Beksinski painting. [http://www.beksinski.pl/]
One unending shift as a checkout operator in woolworths for all eternity

It would change for everyone very much like how heaven was in Supernatural but be based on our fears.

For me, Hell would be a bleak and colourless expanse of uninteresting land where there's literally nothing for me to do. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's being unable to occupy myself. Having that be the case for eternity would be Hell for me.

Like the Escapist forums, filled with arbitrary versus competitions, retarded polls on fake edgy topics and endless waves of "What would you do in a zombie apocalypse" threads.

Hell looks like to me what Earth looks like now, Illogical, stupid, driven by sex and greed. Religion controlling the stupid man and restraining the progress of our society. This world is my personal hell.

I am not emo, I am just don't like this illogical world that I live in.
"I am just don't like this illogical world that I live in."
One for the recordbooks ladies and gentleman!

Ah the only true hell is one wherein we cannot make fun of our fellow man.

Were I to hypothetically believe in hell, It'd be this:

Nothing. Just an endless black void. No torture or endless burning fire, sure, but nothing else either. You'd be conscious, but totally alone and deprived of any new sensory input whatsoever. No sights, no sounds, no smells, no tastes, nothing tangible to touch.

Just nothing.

Forever.

Think about it.
