Mons is norwegian and means "the Great", which is because it´s a variation of Magnus (Magnum). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlemagne

Apparently Josh means something to the effect of "God is Salvation", which since I'm an atheist is kind of a kick in the nuts.

What I got from: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_does_the_name_Cassidy_mean

Cassidy is an Irish name, meaning "Curly Haired." It also can mean "clever" and "ingenius."

...which is odd because I'm not Irish nor do I have curly hair. I guess I'll just go with the clever and ingenius part :)

My parents told me that my first and middle names (Bryn and Conor) meant "Hill" and "King", ie: "King of the Hill" in Welsh. But the internet says Conor/Connor has more to do with being a "lover of dogs", so uh, yeah, I guess I go up on the hill and I.. love some dogs? Damn.
Just out of curiostiy, do you ever get the urge to stand by a fence, drink beer, and say "yup" with some friends?

Eagerly awaiting an American to say "I'm American, honey. Our names don't mean shit."

OT: It is derived from a surname and a place name meaning "wood, clearing" in Old English. Oh yay.
