hehe I got a wizard with fits because I'm a magic fighting distance type. My other two characters, the Misanthrope that is heavily oppionated and hated of hypocritical religions got a cleric XD That description fits him so must though XD. My other character who is a villain and cunning for a Rogue and BOY does that fit him XD

Defining classes by age old cliches E staff for shame. When I took the quiz I just went down the list and named the class the choice was for.

I got Wizard. Which is fine, though I usually get Cleric when I do these things.

Of course, it might have something to do with the creator of the quiz thinking that wanting to read "The Da Vinci Code" would indicate any serious interest in religion. I could have gone with Cleric, but the knowledge of what I had to do to get it would hang like a badge of shame in my heart.

I got rogue and I suppose I could agree with such things. In any D&D based CRPG I've played, my party was generally lead by a rogue. Neverwinter Nights had to be a jerk about the whole thing of course by being all but unplayable in the early sections as anything safe a fighter/barbarian/paladin. That whole 6 HP, armor and weapon restrictions and low attack bonuses meant that the early game was often a matter of scraping through an encounter, resting to full health and doing it again. The first hours of that game would draaaaaag.

I've never played the pen and paper version of the game, mostly because I've never met a person who plays the pen and paper game that I would actually want to associate with. I'm sure there are plenty of fine people who play the game but the ones I've met have been universally useless lumps of unwashed flesh who suffer from enormous social inadequacy and tend to engage in conversations that infuriate me at every turn.

Rouge! Hells to the yes! Though I've never actually played a Rogue... just started playin D&D recently and I've played a stealthy dual wielding Ranger, and an Assassin instead of an actual Rogue though, but it's the play style the counts right? Haha

Also enjoy my Dragonborn barbarian very muchly though. Nice to take a more direct approach every now and then.
Not really. The rogue is, very generally, that guy in the party who can actually DO stuff. Sure they can't loose an arrow with the skill of a ranger, or tromp about in heavy armor and wade deep into the ranks of the enemy like a fighter but they can be an aid in a fight regardless. And, sure they can't cast a spell from memory or call upon the gods for divine intervention but they can fake it well enough to use a spell or a scroll. The only class that even comes close is the Bard (which, according to NWN gets 6 + int modifier skill points per level versus the rogues 8 + int modifier), and the bard is very generally the party member that KNOWS stuff.

Basically, the rogue offers a solution to most any problem. It won't be the best solution, but it might be the only one handy.

Nice! Though it doesn't make a lot of sense since on the only directly magic oriented question I answered that magic is all trickery ('the hand is quicker than the eye').

I'm glad I got Rogue, if I got a Cleric I'd be sad o.o

I play the Mage/Sorcerer any time I can. I play most games fairly recklessly and aggressively, but I still like to be at range as much as possible. I don't know, maybe I'm more of a Ranger/Hunter.

That quiz says I'm a Rogue, but bleh. No way.

If we are going 4e than I am definitely an Artificer. I like to play classes that focus on aiding the party more than personal glory.

For the longest time, I had one character, no matter what the campaign for D&D: elven ranger...changed the name, the stats, but it always the same...a loner type, always chaotic good, and always trying to be helpful, though that was due to a "pack mentality". I branched out eventually, but in recent games (the past few years), I've played a kind of Garrett from the Thief series knock-off, just because its fun to be a very professional asshole that only cares about money and himself....unless the situation calls for something different.

Oh, and I got Rogue in the quiz, but that wasn't too difficult, its not like they made getting that result vague or anything.

It would appear that I have been ninja'd. Though I do prefer the wizard theme, mechanistically, a healer's too vital.

EDIT: If artificers are there, they're awesome.
