My First (Handheld) Game: Lego Drome Racers for the GameBoy Advance SP

I got it with my Gameboy Advance SP (it was a bday present when I was 9) It was crappy, and licensed, but damn I had fun with it!

My First (Console) Game: Kirby Air Ride for the GameCube

I got it when I was 8, and I played the hell out of that for many a year. Sigh, so many times I destroyed my sister and my friends in that game...

The original Sonic the Hedgehog as well as Sonic Spinball. Best era of my gaming life hands down.

I've been gaming all my life so it's too far back for me to remember a specific game. But probably Super Mario Bros.

I remember playing a bunch of games on my Atari 2600 as a kid, but it was easily playing Super Mario Brothers on one of those "Nintendo Playchoice 10" arcade cabinets that really got me into video games.

The first game I played was Pokemon: Yellow, but I didn't really get into gaming until trying Kirby and The Crystal Shards on my friend's Nintendo 64.

This, except it was probably something on the Amiga, some time in 1992.

Mine has to be Mega Man 3. Beat it so many times. Now I can't even beat one robot master.

It wasn't so much the game, but the NES that got me introduced to gaming. Along with the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt game, a arcade TMNT game, and a football game that took place between '96-'98 cause the Cleveland football team was named the Crunchies since Art had taken the Browns to Baltimore, I got my first taste of gaming then.

Pokemon helped me get into handheld gaming, and Silver launched me into the Gameboy Color years...but the game that got me hooked has to be Paper Mario. Not playing it, cause I only got to experience it from the spectator's chair at a friend/neighbor's house. But wanting to play it, my parents got me and my sister the Gamecube, and from then on I've been a gamer. From Luigi's Mansion starting it off, to me now owning almost 200 games across multiple systems, and the last game I recently (re)played (starting my 3rd play through) being Deus Ex:HR, if it wasn't for that desire to play Paper Mario, I don't think I would have had the push to get the system and find my love of gaming

I'd played PC games before, but the game that made me get a console so I could actively get and play new games as opposed to just the ones my Dad already had was Final Fantasy VII. It coincided with the right age for me to know it was something I wanted to actively pursue.
