what games do you regret bying?

GTA IV and Gears of War. played about 30 min of each before realizing i hated them.
Fallout 3 for Xbox insead of PC: i'm not a graphics snob, but Fallout 3 ran so much better and prettier on my PC at least i learned my lesson and got FO:NV for PC instead of wasting my money on the xbox version.
and, on the flip side, Bioshock 1 for PC instead of xbox, since the drm made it completely unplayable for me on pc for some reason.

Metro 2033. Even at £6.50 it is a dulllllllllllllllllllllllll game. There's just nothing that seems to make me care enough to actually want to overcome the challenges, which themselves arent very interesting.

Mafia 2.
Was advertised like it mixed GTA IVs open world with Mafia 1s story telling/realism.
In fact it mixed GTA IVs arcade car physics with a badly written story, an open world devoid of anything to do but the main storyline and boring gameplay.

I will never again preorder a full price game that isn't either Shogun 2:Total War or made by VALVE.

By far TF2 and Bioshock. They both bored and frustrated me throughout my entire time with them and game me no joy whatsoever. I wish I had those ten bucks back, I could've gotten some candy bars instead.

Edit: Oh yeah, and Mercenaries 2.

Medal of Honor and Bad Company 2 for sure. The first one wasn't bad, it was just lacking. The other everyone would spawn snipe from their spawn, and even worse not go for the objective.

Napoleon Total War. It was a piece of trash after the amazing game that was Empire Total War. Hell, even Shogun Total War was better. Installed Napoleon, played for 15 minutes, uninstalled and gave the discs to a friend. That bad.

Final Fantasy XIV... and to make matters even worse, the Collector's Edition.

I've got a decent collection of collector's editions {go figure, huh?}, but FFXIV is the only one that I feel ashamed of having.

Also regret buying the Aion CE, but I'm not shamed by it... it came with that little statue/figurine, after all.

Final Fantasy 13 and Fable 3. One was too linear and the other way too short.

I regret buying Mass Effect1 even at a discounted on steam. Circle jerk conversations that dont let you do what you want. And Battlefield BadCompany2, bought it for the multiplayer and vehicles. Turned out not enough vehicles or multiplayers

Pool of Radiance: The Ruins of Myth Dranor(sp?). Found it in a bargain bin, didn't work worth crap on my computer, ended up smashing the disk in frustration... twice. Yes that's right, I was stupid enough to go back and buy another copy from that same bargain bin. In my defense though, I figured the problems were with the disk; I was wrong.

Every COD and Halo game - And i did buy them, just to see what theyre like so i can make educated criticisms.

Luckily, i get 7 day return policies.

The last Halo I played that was fun was Halo 2..

Why? because you could freaking dual wield Needlers!!!!

Just about every modern FPS. I've learned after 3 purchases (Killzone 2, MW, Halo 3) that these games are never purchase worthy, regardless of how good they are. They are all rentals, since I'm capable of extracting every bit of enjoyment I'll ever get out of them in 7 days anyway. No point shelling out $70 when $7 can do the same.

Only one exception so far in the last 5 years or so; MAG.
