As big a fan as I am of ZP, his fanboys are doing their best to taint the experience for me, mostly by having the biggest persecution complex this side of right-wing pseudo-Christian bigots. In the ZP:SSBB thread, the people who agreed with Yahtzee outnumbered the people who disagreed with him by a good 3:1 margin, and yet they were STILL complaining of persecution by "those rabid Nintendo fanboys."

For that matter, I don't mind people not liking the Wii. I love it, but to each their own. However, when the only reason someone gives for not liking it is "Nintendo sold out to the casual gamer," THEN I have a problem.

As for what gets my goat in video games, let's talk about the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 is the first, and so far the only, console on the market that I absolutely HATE, I hate it with a passion. I have been kicking myself for getting one, largely because it needed repairs TWICE in the first six months since I got it (and after the first time I got it, I treated it like fucking royalty and it still bricked after a month). There are other things I can complain about, like how Microsoft wasn't willing to wait another few months for the 1080 tech to be refined so they can't fit bigger games on the damn disks, but I'll stop now and move on to things not related to gaming.

On the matter of goats: Mint. I don't like mint, and it's bloody everywhere. My dentist has a special note to remind her I don't like mint, so she'll give me berry fluoride or whatever, but then at the end she gives me mint floss and toothpaste! I've managed to find one, count 'em one, toothpaste that doesn't taste like mint. Cinnamon Burst? Mint. Citrus Breeze? Mint. *shakes fist at sky*

Bah! Mint is another thing that can go away. Mint chewing gum, polo's and tic-tac's really take my goat abroad. I'm probably starting to sound like everything gets on my nerves now...

Finally, someone else besides me who can't stand mint! I thought I was alone on the fucking planet! Why can't they make a half-decent toothpaste that doesn't taste like it?
At least the tangerine Altoids are half-decent.

after all what is the objective in most of the modes in COD4?(and any FPS for that matter). its to kill more virtual people than the other team, doesnt matter how you do it, a kill is a kill.

- INCONSISTENT FRIENDS. This displeases me very much and is the source of my anger. I will not be your shepherd when you become a bleating lamb if you are buggaring off when i have a problem

i do something similar, usually friends, it's not because the person doesn't have a name it's because the name isn't always important. if it's some person off the street or a coworker (that i don't know outside of work), i will refer to the person as "my friend" or "the girlfriend", tho when refering to the latter it's usually "the boss", because they don't know the person. if i'm talking to a friend or my girlfriend, i will say the person's name i'm talking about

People riding bikes but not wearing helmets.

Today I rode past an ambulance with a bunch of young teenage guys huddled around and one on the floor. He was clearly unconcious and in a bad way, there was nothing to hit or that hit him, just a normal unremarkable street on the way to my favourite trails. None of them had helmets.

I see a scene like this at least twice a month. I've also found one person who was stone dead having crashed, it wasn't pleasant. The common thread is that the victim is never, ever wearing a helmet.

Then wankers have the nerve to stand there and claim wearing a helmet makes injuries more likely, or that it somehow emasculates them or that they don't need it for a short trip round town or they're too skilled to need one.

Then I ride past another ambulance.
Good to get that of me chest.
