Illegal immigrants. I'm sorry your country sucks, but if you want to cross the border to get the rights of Americans, please do it legally. Or if you have no choice but come over, do so and apply for citizenship ASAP. Do not leech off of us.

Anyone who is famous for being rich/hot. Seriously, how much newsprint was given to Anna Nichole Smith's death as compared to Steve Erwin's? Now, who actually made a difference in their life?

People who hate Americans for being American. Hate stupidity, but realize that stupidity and American mean two different things. Not all Americans are stupid, and not all stupids are American.

For the record my current tally is 6 helmets. 2 replaced after crashes because of foam compression. 3 cracked after high speed crashes and one completely shattered from 30mph over the bars. That one knocked me out despite the helmet, yet I see people on the same trail without. You'd think the BIG ROCKS would persuade them.

One helmet ended because I got sideswiped by a car and headbutted the wind screen. Another when I rode over a patch of oil/brake fluid and the front wheel washed out. Face met pavement with force.
Both on the streets, both low speed, didn't see either coming and had no way to avoid.
i've biked for many years, doing a lot of trail riding too, thing is i never wear a helmet, it impares my vision and i have to abnormally crane my neck to see properly

i've never once had a run in with a car, i tend to pay attention to what i'm doing tho

lol I'm a Scotsman by birth and an American by choice. Personally, I like it better here. Despite what all the nay-sayers think, y'all have one nice country and I'm proud to live here.

-I hate American Ebonics... it's like my arch-nemesis.
-I can't stand it when people don't enunciate and their questions sound like a slew of grunts instead of anything intelligible.
-People who ask for a game but don't specify which system they want it for, then get really annoyed when you ask, as if you're expected to have the power to read their minds to figure out which system they have at home.
-I agree with Hanger, I hate the shoe-skates. Most especially, I hate the children wearing the skates when they roll into my store and into another customer.
-Microsoft's blatant outsourcing as far as tech support is concerned. Whenever I call, I get somebody in India. What's worse is that the guy with the apparent Indian accent will say his name is Ken or something to make you think he's American.
-Parents who let their 2-3 year-old run around the store, taking games out of the meticulously alphabetized places and scattering them EVERYWHERE.
-Parents who purchase Mature-rated titles for their ten-year-old without even bothering to look at why the game has been rated Mature. I'm sure that's already been said, but it's even more frustrating when you're the one asking "Are you aware this game is rated Mature?" or "Is it okay if your child purchases this Mature-rated game?" and they just nod.

This is all I can think of for now, but I'm sure I'll have others on a day where I haven't worked. I was in for six hours without a break today, and I'm pretty sure that being held up at gunpoint was the last thing left on my list of "Bad Things That Could Happen at Work."

I've already stated on other threads that I'm a Gamestop employee, so don't worry, it's safe to say. I'm allowed to complain about the customers. :-D

I don't get many fanboys here, actually. Just people who decide that their welfare checks are obviously much better spent on games than oh, say, a washer and dryer. Seriously. I overheard a phone conversation once from a woman telling her mother she couldn't get a washer because her husband was buying a PS3. I really wanted to slap him, but alas, to do so would get me fired, and I really enjoy checking out games (free rentals, essentially).

As for what ticks me off... nothing much; I'm a pretty laid-back guy. But then, I hate emoticons. And trolls, and pretty much all idiots/racists/bigots/people who pre-judge/Fox News... uh, yeh, not too many people...

I can't really help with the other ones but I'm one of those customers who just HAS to re-alphabetise the section he's in at the time. I'm a guardian angel for game store employees.

i think someone has said it before but ppl who leech off of welfare and the government.
everytime im at work i get at least a dozen ppl with like 5 kids who have milk tokens and the like, they are healthy workable ppl who cant be assed to get a job so they scrounge off aid from the government and stuff like that.
it honestly disgusts me that i know me working is helping pay for these free loaders who sit at home and do jack shit, it sends out completely the wrong message to kids imo, its bad enough you have 16-17 yr olds having kids but when you show them that you can have anything by doing nothing then thats where you should draw the line.
and another thing that gets me is teenage pregnancies, im pro choice btw so i believe its upto the woman to decide whether she wants an abortion or not but i wish these teenagers wud use some sense, i know it maybe hard having to abort a living thing but you're just too young, you're kids yourself too, how do you expect to look after something and get a decent education at the same time? i know fully well i wouldnt be able to look after a kid, i hate them too but aside from that(and for reasons i shall not disclose cause i will come off as a self centred bastard)i know i cant look after a kid to save my life and i dont plan to try. pill, condoms, they work for me:D

Teenagers. I was one about 2 years ago, but they're pissing me off at the moment.

Not all teenager though, just the ones that are real dumbasses.

I'm not going to discriminate if you're dumb, it's the fact they don't even try to expand their horizons or learn about the world that really gets my goat.

Seriously, sometimes I feel like a 67 year old man.

im 19 and i use alot of sayings to get my point across if i cant accurately describe something with my vocab. my ex thought i was "old" because i used big words, sayings, analogies etc.
i would rather be "old" and knowledgable than young, blissfully ignorant, stupid, etc(like hey joe said, im not generalising all teenagers either, just a select few)

Family Guy, and its ability to gain viewers despite how much it sucks.
Robot Chickens opposite effect to the one above.
People who defend the Imperial system of measurement.
People who are unable to understand that 9/11 wasn't an unprovoked attack on America for its prosperity.
People who use double standards.
Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and every other woman who is famous for being a tramp. (Suprisingly, despite how dumb she is, Jessica Simpson isn't in this category)
Hugh Hefner, and the fact that he hasn't been lynched or imprisoned or something.
People who blame Christianity for the worlds problems.
My ego problems.
Wow I'm the opposite in everything you said you must hate me. (except imperial, and double standards.)

i hate how teenagers could think carrying around a knife can be deemed "cool", what is "cool" about getting stabbed? or going to prison because you acted in "self defense" when someone attacked you?
equally these stupid murders that happen because the victim looked at someone in "the wrong way", how exactly do you do that? whats the "right" way to look at someone then?
just stupid ppl and stupid thinking in general just grinds my gears and it makes me loose faith in humanity by the second.

Nothing personal, but you just got my goat again! albeit by accident.

Its always push bikes, the lad I went past today was on a red bmx. This gets me doubly mad, people seem to assume you don't need a helmet for a push bike.

I ride a mountain bike for fun and a bmx to get around, everyday. So I see a lot of other cyclists and the accidents they get caught up in.

Both on the streets, both low speed, didn't see either coming and had no way to avoid.

All that stuff about cars and SUV's applies doubly to cyclists. We don't have 200 kg of bike for protection nor does a bicycle make any noise.

Again its not personal, its people lack of common sense that gets me.
I never thought much about bicycles, haven't been on my bicycle in years. I rode a lot as a kid and never saw anyone with a helmet - many motorcyclists didn't even wear them - and I never saw any serious head injuries, even on over-the-handlebars wipe-outs on paved roads. (Front wheel meets rear wheel of the bike ahead gives a very quick and pretty spectacular trip over the bars. Maybe heads were just harder back then.) But then I was way out in the sticks, and even on the paved roads there wasn't much traffic.

Push bikes - are there bikes that don't have pedals, like the old scooters (think skateboards with a handle.) Why on earth would anyone want that?

I'll give your goat back now; I only got it by accident.

You make the asumption that everyone else is paying attention too.
You've obviously never had one of 'those' accidents that just happen before you can react either.

You are exactly the kind of prat I ranted about in my first post. If you can't see when wearing a helmet, try putting it on the right way round. People claimng they can't see when wearing a helmet is bullshit.

Either you bought a cheap crappy one or one that didn't fit. Go to a decent bike shop and drop a decent amount of money on one (£30 at least), if the peak's obscuring your view they're removable on all decent helmets and adjustable on most too.
Get it fitted properly and it won't move around on your head, or drown you in sweat, it won't strangle you, it won't weigh your head down, impair sideways vision or any other of the bizarre made up paranoia fueled excuses people make for not wearing.

their xbox live support is in canada, there's 2 spots for it or there were, i know where one is. as for their normal tech support, no need to call them, that's what google is for

as for those kids with the skate shoes, i find feeling the sudden need for a good stretch as they pass by to be rather enjoying when they get clotheslined "by accident" of course

yeah i'm of two minds of this, cause i know tons of parents claim "i don't know anything about video games" and claim ignorance and then say "no government controls", to which i say "yeah but movies don't either" (at least in the states, canada has provincial gov run film boards, the mpaa is industry run) and then there's the ones that know that getting a game like that for their kids isn't that bad of a thing and just don't care

the second type i don't care about cause they have a clue, it's the first type that are stupid, they are getting the game for the kid so they don't have to spend time with it and the game system can entertain their precious little crotchfruit
