What instruments do you play?

I pretty much exclusively play bass guitar. I can play a tune or two on guitar and keyboards too and if I had a drum set I'd also be a drummer. Mostly I just make music with digital instruments but still.

Piano, Grade 6

Theory is a *****
Excuse my ignorance, but what does grade mean?
Grades are levels. You start at zero, and after learning all the new stuff in each level, you play in an exam to an examiner. You play a few songs, you play a few scales and you answer a few questions. If you do well, you advance in grades. They get progressively MUCH harder as it goes along.

Grade 6 is "The Grade" to which everyone aspires. At 6, you know all you need to know to play any piece. Grades 7 and 8 (8 is highest) are basically learning how to play REALLY stupidly difficult pieces.

My dream is to one day play Hungarian Rhapsody. First I will play it properly, like this (WATCH IT all the way through, please. It's the greatest piano piece on earth)

Then I will learn to play it with a friend...like Victor Borge here (Victor was the world's greatest, funniest music-based comedian)

Thank you for enlightening me. Also, how old do you need to be to take those exams? And what instruments?

Drums. Started when I was about 10. Stopped for a few years as I never stuck with anything for long when I was young. Picked it up again after I started playing Rock Band with my friends. Been playing ever since.

I'm an average guitarist and a vocalist.

I also learned to play the audience in drama, if that counts.

I play guitar and sing in my band, but I also play trombone in my school concert band.

I can also sort of play bass, drums, and piano, and of course the recorder.

When people are in an audience, they become not a mass of individuals so much as a singularity. When you perform well, everyone knows it. You learn, in drama class, to use this theory/idea to herd their emotions through gestures. If the actor is "doinitrite", you will feel what everyone else is feeling and move like everyone else. It's a theory for acting and it works.

It all really comes down to the efficient use of movement theories and character development. Your audience will always be able to tell if a character is being portrayed badly. Interestingly enough, the cast also becomes a singularity. The epitome of "The chain is only as strong as its weakest link".

Like a lot of people. I play guitar. I'm self taught, and have been playing for about three years. I'm not great at it, and my style is pretty sloppy. However, I love every second of it. Music is my form of expression, and it allows me to convey anything I'm feeling into a song or sound.(I get very into it)

As far as what I'd like to learn, I'd have to say anything. I love music and I love making music. Put an instrument in-front of me, and I'll do my best to play it, and even if it sounds awful, I'll love every second of it.

Bass Guitar, Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Simple Drums, Simple Piano (chords mainly), singing as well, if that counts, ukulele, harmonica, recorder and very simple saxophone, just two scales, major and minor E.

I like learning musical instruments.
