What is an acceptable desktop for a man? (Or due to responses, what does a REAL man have?)

Windows 7 Rocks, you can set as many backgrounds you like and it will alternate between them at intervals of your choosing.

...Seriously though, I think objectification vs. appreciation is really up to the viewer, though the level of exposure/suggestiveness affects how someone's going to see you. Think your problem is when appreciation and leering become confused.

I tend to avoid the entire problem by using backgrounds that have less focus on one element- think a Left 4 Dead wallpaper, (4 characters). Its hardly a solution, but.. there you go.

if your going for a anime/girl from a game,avoid anything that look teenage/too young
i prefer sexy and experienced
also you could go for some weird modern art painting if you want to seem manly and intellegent go for one of those naked drawings(and a good looking one some can be really ugly.
