Well in a link between both those comments, I like to call those 10% the "Zombie Bait" in case that ever happens.

OT: Essentially the guy who was killed was a gang member under surveillance because his brother (another member) was murdered by another gang in some drugs dispute. The police followed him after he went out with a gun, got him into a corner then he shot one of the officers, not killing him because it hit his radio. That guy then shot back and that's why some dicks have decided to go rioting.

There's been the "peaceful protests" but I say fuck 'em. If the guy was stupid enough to get involved with gangs then he had this coming. And I don't care about the crap like "he/they came from a depraved area". Just because he grew up in a place like that doesn't mean that he had to get involved with violence, there's many other people who come from backgrounds like that and don't resort violence.

What is happening treating criminals with kid gloves doesnt work. Go back to smashing them with a baton and then ask questions. People that break the law lose their human rights. How can you keep your human rights when you break the human rights of others? Go back to hard labour and shitty prisons like Thailand has. Why this protection of criminals? Prison should be horrible.....you broke the law, take your punishment like a man. This country has gone to soft. We ruled one quater of the world....we didnt do this by being nice. Lets go back to that view point.

Make prison really crap for first offenders. You get a 1 month sentence....make that month back breaking labour, make them misrable, lonely and the lowest they can be. Then they will think twice before commiting a crime again.
