Channel + Fireball. Hey you did say any game. :p
What's Channel do?
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51hNj9s8JsL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

You can spend life as mana. There's a turn-one kill strat that is based on putting down a mountain and a black lotus, tapping the lotus for 3 green, tap the mountain for red mana, and cast channel for 2 green. You now have up to 20 mana to spend (in life) and 2 spare mana to spend. Fireball costs R+X to deal X damage. Spend the spare 2 mana and 19 life to deal an instant 20 damage to the enemy before they can take a turn.
MMM, the good old days. Though, now I do feel a hell of a lot older given that there are players out there who don't remember this little horror. :( Even on it's own it's pretty horrific if you have a life advantage.

I've never played it, but the sniper rifle in CS. My friend told me it is insta-kill no matter where you shoot someone with it, so everyone runs around with it. Also vehicles that allow you to just run over people while that person can only hurt them with rocket launchers, which they don't always have...

The fucking Wraith in Resistance 2. I mean seriously! Too many people use that thing and it is really unfair when almost every single player I encounter close-range just pops out that stupid shield and chain guns me to death.

1) Any technic that one shot you/character/unit
2) Any technic that prevent the use of your character/unit (mainly known has "stunlock")
3) Any Unavoidable really too strong technic
4) Any really not enjoyable behavior in a Multiplayer game, the camper, the cheater, the disconnecter, the don't want to lose, to name a few

But atleast it wasnt really feasable to pull off in a game. Atleast not with insane luck and that .001% chance of you actually getting the right cards. Oh yes I remember that shit, there are far far worse decks out there that can kill you in one turn. I actually lost a game on my turn when I went first. DO you hear me my opponent beat me before he even had a chance to take a turn.
That would have been Rath cycle wouldn't it?

On topic: Excessive horse archers in Rome: TotalWar
Plain horse archers aren't OP, light cavalry can usually close in without too much casualties and hitting them while they're doing the cantabrian circle usually leaves 75% of them dead before they even pull out their knives, their low accuracy and volume of fire also makes them rather ineffective compared to regular archers, who get another one up on them in the form of having an easier time hitting their unarmored horses.

If anything, Legionaries and their high morale, high armor, bigass shields, turtle formation and most of all, their anti-everything javelins which can stop an elephant charge, get a 1 in 3 kill rate against similar units and mess up a phalanx so badly they get beaten in a frontal charge are more OP.

Unless you are talking about the huns from the expansion which can indeed be a pain in the ass to fight, mainly because they're so fast and never get tired.

But then again, that same expansion gave us repeater ballistae mounted on chariots. and there're TWENTY FUCKING FOUR of them in each unit as opposed to 2 with any other weapon.

Spawn Camping. Especially if its repetitive. I get killed on spawn the first time, quite annoying. Second time, well, it escalates. Rapidly.

Noob tubing, not too sure what it is but my friends seem to really hate it.

i'd go for the tesla cannon as a really overpowered weapon, I don't play many games with guns.

Also this spell i made in oblivion, it did 100 shock damage for x amount of seconds (I forget the exact time) and drained 15 points of life, it could kill an imperial guard in one hit.

Spec-nading.

Hopeless Failure At Life(HFAL) throws a grenade at a group of friendlies' feet.
HFAL changes team to either spectator or enemy team.
Grenade goes off, killing HFAL's former allies.
HFAL repeats procedure.

Most annoying, cheap, sad, pathetic etc tactic I've ever witnessed. Give me a team full of noob tubers or martyrs over spec naders any day.

Indeed, the Farsight XR-20 is a legitimate /thread. Slap "stopping power" or a thermal scope on any gun you want and it's not broken, it's good but it's not broken. The Farsight is insanely unfair, it's like having an instant kill button for every other player on the map.

It's a good way to gauge a gamer's age actually, see if they think of Perfect Dark for broken guns or if they snap straight to MW2. "Oh no, a grenade launcher!" "Shotgun is broken!" The only thing that compares to this gun is the Superdragon, six grenades fired semi-automatically and with a zoom scope.

Oh, fancy that. Also on Perfect Dark.
Perfect Dark is always the first game that comes to mind when someone mentions either overpowered weapons or unfair game mechanics. Perfect Dark was practically the first game to include a true 'game ending' weapon. Sure, the golden gun in Goldeneye way OP, but the Farsight took things to a while new level.

The Superdragon is another favorite of mine, but the RCP-120 with it's built-in cloaking device is the second on my list. Invisibility + HUGE magazine + Shield melting = OP.

I LOVE Perfect Dark!

Not letting me win. Totally unfair and uncalled for.
What fucking douchebags. They're no-lifer ass holes. I had one do it to me the other day. I may have been doing bad but come on! That is no reason not to let me win.

Marauders and Marines from Starcraft 2. Fucking rape everything you can throw at them that early on in the game.

weapon: The M16 in Cod, the M16 does NOT have the stopping power to kill a man in one burst to the chest UNLESS he hits him in the exact same spot.
Tactic:camping/spawn killing tie, i shoulden't even have to explain this one.
Overpowerd move:the assassinate ability in LOTR Conquest, it should not kill a hero instantly.
