Bedrock.

Why?

"Call me Fred Flintstone, I can make your-"

Well... you know.
Yeah..was about to mention that one. Especially given it consists of THE ENTIRETY of the chorus, and not just a one of tounge in cheek joke.

Time Tempahs Pass Out springs to mind too,

"I got so many clothes I keep some in my aunts house
Im about to be a bigger star than my mum thought..."
and the rest of the song pretty much says "I am a MASSIVE TWAT"

Hmm. Anyone who immediately dismisses an entire genre of music needs their head examined.

I hate country. But even there's the occasional song that I find rather enjoyable.

There IS a lot of crappy rap and hip-hop out there. But there's still a healthy number of most excellent music out there, too.

But you probably won't see it on MTV, that's for sure...just like you won't find decent country on CMT, most of the time...
Have you even heard what they've done to country? Its basically a pint of rap with a shot of Lynrd Skynrd. Simple instrumentals, lyrics designed by committee to strike every chord with the target demographic (drink, fuck, be poor, drive a utility vehicle, vote republican), and an exaggerated southern drawl.

There is nothing insane about discounting an entire genre, as genres aren't defined by the obscure.
No, but nor are they defined only by the new, either. It's unfortunate that some people have grown up knowing only Kenny Chesney and Big and Rich. On a lot of levels, it's just wrong. And depressing. And not in that good way, either.

Arguably stupid (but hilarious).

I have to say my friends keep trying to 'introduce' me to shit like Lil wayne, young money and whatever the fuck else they're called, but it's some of the silliest shit I've heard, though I can't give any concrete examples.
Find better friends.
Don't worry, I still have some metalhead or at least classic rock friends :p.
But these ones are still fun, just musically challenged.

E: So I still contribute to the thread:

Pretty much very rap song I've ever heard.

Message to rappers.

1) Go pick up a guitar.

2) Learn how to play it

3) Write real music
The users here ignorance towards rap disgusts me(Not just him, most escapists). Yes, well over 95% of rap is commercialized trash that appeals to the stupid kids of our time, but then again, look at what people think rock is. Linkin Park and Atreyu get millions of views and are classified as Rock/Metal, and bands like that make up over 80% of what rock is perceived to be, regardless of them being total trash.

If you people look beyond what they play on the radio you may find some rap you enjoy, I find myself enjoying rappers such as Dalek, Ol' Dirty Bastard, and Snoop Dogg(Common, I know), while still enjoying other artists from other genres as well.. Both sides have their awful music, stop classifying one genera trash because of a few artists awful music. But If you want to continue being ignorant, go ahead.

I already posted here but I just noticed this post so I had to say something, may as well post another song. Someone else has said it, but Bedrock, that is a truly awful song right there.
Yes, both sides have their share, but rap is the only one type of music I can fairly say has more than it's fair share. I mean, not all rappers mind you, but at least 90% of them.

I like to imagine all rap songs done in a posh old man English accent.

Suddenly, rap songs are hilarious.

I hate their voices, they're too damn fake. So are the drums. And they're too damn repetitive, swag this, swag that.. I used to like that word. What the fuck is swag surfing?

Every last one of them. Rap is a complete joke IMO. Especially the kind of rap where they take a great song from the 80s and butcher it with their terrible lyrics and auto tuned voice.

Fuck this Face, then My Butt

I wish I made that up, but back on a forum I went to frequently someone found a porn DVD of the same title, and the bonus was a music video for the song, and they ripped the song from the DVD.

Got to be this
It's taking the theme to Transformers but changing it to warn people of the dangers of pulling ANY woman as they may be a "mandem in disguise"
