Much like a geiger counter that's been exposed to too much radiation, I don't think your hypometer can track my levels of excitement. I could get an offer to have a three way with Jessica Alba and Christina Hendricks, and I'd be lessed hyped for that then you are about even your level 8 games.

Currently, I am apathetic towards everything that might exist.

I've said it before in your threads and I'll say it again; games don't get ANY credit from me until the things are actually out and playable by the masses.

I have such a backlog to play through that there is zero reason for me to bother looking at anything coming in the future until it is actually here. Hype is just a quick way to disappointment.

I think we already know what's on your list of anticipated games, seeing as you don't say much otherwise in any thread you post in. And it's not hard to see that whatever we post here is gonna be told it sucks and we're tools for liking it. So, I'm gonna proceed to list my games and patiently wait to be proven right. Cause if it's a B-Cell thread, lightning can strike the same place 15 times.

- God Eater Resurrection
- God Eater 2
- Monster Hunter Generations

Those currently have my hype thrusters set pretty damn high, since I'm a huge MH junkie, and God Eater is always lovely to replay. Resurrection will make it my 4th or 5th time I think, I forget

A whopping zero across the boards for me. I'm a bit excited for the Far Harbor DLC for Fallout 4, but that's about it.

Max Hype:

I'm still pretty hyped for Kingdom Hearts 3. I'm constantly googling the game for the latest news. On a completely unrelated note; I hate FFXV.

Pretty Excited:
The Nioh Alpha Demo is pretty fun, so I'm definitely looking forward to that game.

Uncharted 4 is also looking good. My uncles and cousin are absolutely hyped for that game and some of that hype may have rubbed off on me.

Can't wait to see more of Horizon Zero Dawn

I know it exists:
Overwatch

To be honest practically the only game I'm really looking forward to at the moment is Hearts of Iron 4.

Other than that I just have a huge backlog to get through and, frankly looking through that list I can't really raise more than a "meh" for literally anything on there. I practically wasn't even aware of what is coming out.

I guess I'm slightly interested in Overwatch still. But frankly having not been able to play it AT ALL so far I've developed total paranoia that they're trying to hide something. So its more suspicion mixed with apathy than excitement.

Given the recently "leaked" footage of 1666: Amsterdam, I'm already looking forward to more info on that game. Also considering the possibly leaked footage of the next Mass Effect, I'm starting to get the desire to get another game in that series. DOOM also looks great.

Beyond that, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare at least have me interested. I don't have a lot of hype for either, though. I didn't grow up with Kingdom Hearts, but the series has always interested me. And I would like another good CoD game, but that seems unlikely anymore.

Warhammer Total War: KARL FRANZ! KARL FRANZ! FOR THE EMPIRE!

Homefront: The Revolution: WOLVERINES! Though I can't say I'm particularly enthralled by the transformation of North Korea from brutal militaristic dictatorship to "The Apple Army". Still, enjoyed the first one and love the "Invaded States of America" trope as a setting.

Mass Effect Andromeda: Despite the fact that Bioware is blatantly refusing to give us any information about this whatsoever, I am prepared to sacrifice all of you to my heathen gods to generate the funds for an extravagantly overpriced pre-order the *instant* they let me do so, because I fucking loved the original trilogy that much.

Dishonoured 2: Not seen much of this since the initial announcement trailer, but the first game was fantastic and any company that makes an Industrial Revolution inspired world, without atrocious British Cockney accents, deserves financial reward.

What happens when the unstoppable force of B-Cell's excitement for objectively perfect games means the immovable object of the modern Escapist's attitude of "Games? URGH they are all lame and sexist anyway"?

Do expansions count? No full games coming right now that I'm particularly hyped for, but I'm definitely very hyped for the upcoming Witcher 3 and Dark Souls III expansions.

I try not to buy into the hype anymore. A certain quote from Warhammer 40,000 put it best; "hope is the first step on the road to disappointment."

That said, goddammit, No Man's Sky. Why must you look so amazing? Every new bit of info that's gleaned about the game just makes me want it even more.

There aren't many games I'm really looking forward to, but for those I am, I'm absolutely salivating.
On a scale of 1 to 10:

No Man's Sky - 8
Dishonored 2 - 9
Cyberpunk 2077 - 10
Squadron 42 - 12

I'd like to say we'd get a movie as awesome as The Dark Knight, but B-cell is less Heath Ledger's Joker, and more Jim Carry's Riddler. Funny at the start, tedious by the end.

Only thing peaking my interest is the fallout expansions, overwatch, and mass effect.

Also, what am I not getting about No man's sky. It's a single player exploration game and as far as I can tell, I'll be bored to tears after about an hour...

Okay, fine, I'll play. Games I'm interested in, (key word being "interested," not "likely/intending to get") off the top of my head:

-Battleborn
-Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (maybe...I'm a sucker for sci-fi stuff, but that has to be balanced out with my apathy towards the series)
-Doom
-Final Fantasy XV (one of those "will it be worth the wait?" kind of things, similar to DNF. Also wouldn't mind playing it, after enjoying the combat of Xenoblade Chronicles)
-Gears of War 4
-The Legend of Zelda 2017 (not that I own a WiiU, but Zelda, more than anything, could change that)
-Mass Effect: Andromeda (granted, I've never played ME2 or 3, but if Andromeda is the side story it's meant to be, I could jump back into the series there)
-Metroid: Federation Force (yes, I'm interested in this, bite me)
-Overwatch
-Titanfall 2 (singleplayer campaign this time please)
-Total War: Warhammer (haven't played a Total War game since Rome: Total War, but this being Warhammer Fantasy...)
-Mirror's Edge: Catalyst
-Yooka-Laylee (not something I'm likely to buy, but this being a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie...I'm game, so to speak)
-Horizon: Zero Dawn

Given how recent games seem to be nothing more than crappy console ports, it's hard to get excited about anything.

After much hype for Witcher 3 and Fallout 4, and they both being great but definitely not 10 out or 10, I probably going to be spending my time not hyping things and hoping for something surprising. I've been burnt too many time with hype

I don't really get hyped any more. There have been too many disappointments to take game promotion seriously. While I take note of games that are coming up that I might be interested in, as a rule, I don't build up any expectations about them, unless they are made by Naughty Dog or CDPR.

One Piece: Burning Blood could go through the roof if I try the demo and it plays NOTHING like J-stars Victory +.

I'm at a 3 for Uncharted 4, I finally get out of the drought with a game that's well made, but I'm not a fan of the series. ND fan since Crash 1 though, so I kind of have to play it even though most if not all of the original team is gone by now.

No Man's Sky is sitting at a nice 6, it won't be the greatest game ever but it won't need to be.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst fell off the scale after I saw they took out the City of Glass art style in beta videos. It looks and feels nothing like the first one, and for once in my life I say open world was a bad choice.

Final Fantasy XV is actually a 7.5 IF they manage to get the frame-rate under control. Last I heard they were struggling to make it run at 30 FPS.
