What musicians do you think aren't famous enough for how good they are

Seriously, Tom Waits is way underrated because his voice is hard to get past to those used to autotune or whatever.

I'm still on the fence about tom waits, some songs are great (Downtown train and hold on), but a lot of the time he just puts on a weird roaring devil voice and it ruins his songs. He's definitely an original, but I just can't get past some of his more ridiculous vocals.

I think the remedy for that, if you're interested in listening to his stuff more, is to first listen to his songs for the lyrics. They're absolutely brilliant, second to only maybe Dylan, and I'm not even sure about that.

Decyfer Down definitely. They have some great songs but a lot of people I meet have never even heard of these guys as opposed to "musicians" like Lady Gaga, who don't deserve the fame they have.

There's quite a lot of comedy musicians who should be seen in a the charts. I'd certainly prefer to hear Jonathan Coulton, Tim Minchin or Stephen Lynch on the Radio than the Saturdays *wretches*
