I'd really like to test my characters from DAO against other players.
This was my first thought when i read the thread title. We could have one on one or group battles in the proving arena.

The thing is some of these ideas like the assassins creed and oblivion one are already in production.

OT: I would like to see some co-op in fallout 3 and AC and Oblivion, sounds realllly like a good idea and if done right could chage online forever
It's also said to completely screw up both franchises because it won't be left at 4. It'll turn MMO and hten you have a borderlands-esque catastrophe.

We can only hope that it will be a good thing.

When I played it I thought inFAMOUS needed online game play, because otherwise it a bit short, and there was nothing to do, i still think it's a pretty good idea... but I have no idea how to
realise it... :(

Batallion Wars needed online, or at least local multiplayer. So did Fire Emblem.
http://www.battalionwars.com/

it did, well the 2nd one did.

If Mass Effect 3 has multiplayer, im not buying the game.

Does Final Fantasy tactics have multipleyer, if not that would be fun :D
Yeah I know, but on the Gamecube I felt really sad that such a cool game(other than the voice acting and poor controls) was missing the one feature that would redeem it.

Crystal Chronicles is the only FF I know of with multiplayer.

Pretty much every friggin' BioWare game! They are so epic that it would just be mind blowing to share that with say, up to 4 people?

Basically, a cross between Oblivion and Borderlands.... ah fuck it... just give me Diablo III on 360!

There are the occasional single player game that i look at and go hmm this would make a great multiplayer game.

The first game that comes to mind for me is oblivion elder scrolls 4.
I think if they had the funds and the capability to make a game with a huge multiplayer world it would be fun as online. Like owning houses and shops etc. Swapping etc.

Any other ideas?
Did you know there is a Mod out to make it multiplayer? Also, If I had to pick one I would like to see AvP Extinction made into a multiplayer game.its an old Console RTS for the last generation of consoles. I really liked it and would love to see it again.

Assassin's Creed 2! One of the game modes might be all the assassins in a free-for-all in a tight, enclosed space. Just think about all the clusterfucking going on! XD

When I thought about it earlier today, I just laughed.

None.

If they work well as SP leave it that way.
Exactly. Adding online play to it would ruin the single player campaign that most of the developers worked on. Though sadly, it's hard to find a nice single player campaign now-a-days(That doesn't focus on multiplayer)

I know... it's a bit sad.

I can't believe people are saying Fallout 3 and Bioware games... to me that's a terrible idea.

Nothing sucks you out of immersion in a game like other people do, and F3, Oblivion, ME and Dragon Age aren't meant to be experienced that way.

They're meant to be single player experiences where you go and soak up the atmosphere and stories of a new world, not shout at your buddies that you just 'PWND a super mutant'.

I feel ya. I play games Like No More Heroes 2 and Muramasa because the single player is awesome. No More Heroes 2 has an unlockable multiplayer mode for local play only.

Never played those! Are they RPGs?

I can see the attraction for games like Crackdown or Saints Row 2 that are lots of silly fun, but Fallout 3... just no, no, no.
