I'm always one to be swinging the biggest hunk of metal i can find. Axe, hammer, or sword, it's gotta be big enough that everyone's going to assume I have a tiny penis, but nobody will have the guts to say it out loud around me. So two-handed, then probably heavy armor, whatever repair they've got, and some destructive/summoning spells for when i'm either outnumbered, or the enemy is out of reach and I don't feel that throwing twigs at them is gonna help. I've always gotta have some kind of persuasion as well. I don't like missing the story just because my guy has a fat mouth.

Clever Girl...

A Nord with a Sword/ axe and a hammer and I will name him Ymir after the Norse god
I think Ymir was a giant, not one of the Aesir. My norse mythology is a bit rusty though.

I'll probably go straight tank my first playthrough, and change it up as I go.
No your right, his blood is the oceans, the earth..his skull. The gods killed him and used his body to make our living world. All symbolic but I'm a pagan and can say that. Christians be good to learn that lesson of learning the message, not the literal words as they are just as silly
Sounds exactly like Yogg-Saron in WoW,
Nnnnnnot really. Azeroth was created by the Titans and soon after that, the Old Gods (of which Yogg-Saron is one of five on Azeroth) arrived and implanted themselves into the planet, creating a symbiotic link with it such that killing the Old Gods would destroy the planet entirely so the Titans opted to neutralise and imprison the Old Gods in the hope of stopping their influence. Yogg-Saron's prison of Ulduar was shattered after his influence spread out to his guardians and watchers.

/Off-topic.
Sounds the same to me.

A Dunmer Thief, same as every other Elder Scrolls game I've played. If a problem can't be solved by the circuitous use of a silver tongue or minor breaking and entering, then it's best left to a tense bowstring or practiced knife hand.

Well in one case the Gods used the frost giant's corpse to create the world, in the other case the Titans (Gods, whatever) had already created the world and the Old Gods came over and infested it.

I'm sure someone else mentioned this, but Oblivion is not much different in how it plays. The only difference is that only major skills develop level, which in turn made the leveling system a pain in the ass. All they did was remove the class system as well as removing the ability to mark major skills (hopefully making min/maxing obsolete).

Anyway. I will be a Breton Mage (possibly with a dagger for back up, but more likely just a ton of potions).

Well, I was thinking of playing a Dark Elf assassin character who's a bit racist against high Elves, and who uses mostly daggers and some stealth/mind oriented Alteration and Illusion spells. But it's also tempting to be a badass axe wielding Nord. Hard to decide.

Sounds like the set up to a good fantasy story but without said story, and what is the lesson in that huh I abmit that I don't get it, just sounds crazy. Hey it does sound silly.

I'll be an argonian warrior, I know the given race attributes don't work in favour of the warrior class but argonians are so god damn awesome.
so yeah argonian warrior with a bit of stealth and alteration :p

Assuming that these skills are still in skyrim I will likely choose these ones to use the most(I understand that you level up whatever you choose to use; and the system isn't like oblivion)
Blade
Block
Alteration
Sneak
Heavy Armour
Armourer

I'll play a Nord Dragon Hunter/Werewolf if I can first, then do a pure Mage play through.

My Mages always end up as powerful as a Daedric lord.

I'll be making my Ranger/STALKER class, as always. Specializations in swords (2 handed), archery, light armor, and stealth.

I really, really wanna go dagger in one hand and a free hand for punching in the other. However, I fear that they took hand-to-hand out as a skill

A Breton thief: Sneaky, master with knives and short/long swords with a focus on dual wielding and lock-picking.

More or less just doesn't give much of a shit about people or the state of the world around him, only really aiming on making a profit but does have some standards.

Well I wasn't really sure what my race was going to be, but now I know!

So yeah, Argonian Assassin type.
Looks like I'm not the only one who always plays a Argonian Assassin.

Stealth, Thievery, Daggers, A Silver Tongue, and A Bow and Arrow.

Thats because its clearly the best combination. Badass looking lizard-man, being able to get into any building, clear out any goodies, and backstab anyone who gets in your way. How can you go wrong?

Some sort of stealthy assassin class...A sneaky guy who shoots arrows out of the darkness, slitting throats with my daggers when I need to get up close, maybe a short sword for head-on melee attacks...No magic if I can help it, I prefer the idea of just making a 'pure' class. Though I assume I'll need to use dragon powers at some point.

Im so freaking hyped for this game!!!! I don't even remember the last game I was so excited for, it may even have been Oblivion...

I want to make a magic archer, and I suppose for the sake of it, I will need to be pretty sneaky. If possible, I would like to avoid using any melee weapon, although I'm not sure about shield use. The concept sounds like an interesting and fun time to me. I haven't really worked out the other details yet, but I'm sure everything will sort itself out.

I will be playing against racial stereotypes and bring forth another in a long line of my elder scrolls Argonian fighter mages. I have nothing to hide, why should I sneak? However, I will say that I miss spear from morrowind. At least my swords will look super awesome, right? *tries to hide disappointment*

All joking aside, I'll try a little bit of everything, but more than likely stick with the above. This will also be the first time I play an elder scrolls game on console, my PC will sadly not be able to upgrade to the point at which I could play the game comfortably.
