Might and Magic VII.

Wha-- Spaceship?! What Wha-Huh??!WhaRobots, huh-what!?
That's almost every might and magic game, though.

The World of Xeen (Clouds and Darkside combined) probably explains what's going on better than anything else.

Well I was playing Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green one day and then I came upon this zombie. This zombie in particular wasn't as bitey or rather arm swooshey as all the other zombies. It just said "RAWWWWW" and wiggled his hands while gliding across the floor. This is probably the most prominent "WTF" moment in my gaming experience. :)

In the last minute I even managed to catch a small video with my iPod. Expect high quality video footage!!

aside from omg samus is a girl?!?!? in super metroid
I am almost certain 99% of the time when i used to play wow i was saying what the hell why am i still playing this, and said it aloud before i put that 15$ a month crack behind me forever.
but probably the biggest what the hell totally wierded out moment by a game has got to be from the fat guy boss in clive barker's jericho. if you didn't play the game, you didn't miss out on much, if your like me and have a twisted soft spot for hellraiser that even made you watch those horrible 5,6,7,8 and convinced you that the over the top corny factor of 3 and 4 was still entertaining...sorry i lost my train of thought a bit... well you liked hellraiser so wanted to check out jericho only to find yourself saying what the hell every 5 minutes, you guys know what i mean

WHEN I FUCKING STAB YOU IN ASSASSIN'S CREED BROTHERHOOD WITH MY SPEAR YOU SHOULD DIE

That's my "what the hell" moment. Seriously, how do they keep 'miraculously' dodging my attack and then stun me IN WANTED MODE.

Ever play The Darkness? Well, there's a moment towards the beginning where you visit your girlfriend Jenny's new apartment, and after getting the setup for the next bit of plot out of the way you can sit down and watch Tv with her. As To Kill a Mockingbird plays in glorious black and white, Jenny fidgets around a bit on the couch, plays around with your hand, and after a bit, she kisses "you" (this whole bit is not a cutscene, you understand) in a genuinely touching emotional moment that is only slightly marred by the fact that you get an achievement for having it.

This was not my moment. My moment came a few seconds later when I realized that this cheap, ugly, short little comic book tie-in game made me care more about an NPC love interest than any Fable title I've ever played, or any other game I will ever play.
You too? xD

That, and the swingset glitch in GT4, when you first find out about it, because you tried driving through the little park to escape a 4 star wanted level.

Ah, my bad. I thought you liked the game but then suddenly stopped playing it because you thought the ending is going to be bad. But if you found the game tedious and it was starting to become boring, makes sense.
I thought the game overall was great, it was just the ending that was tedious. It became incredibly boring the moment I got the apple, and since I didn't think the ending was going to be fun (or interesting) anyway I stopped playing. I think all of the Assassin's Creed games are great (even the incredibly repetitive first one), it's just the endings that are always terrible in terms of both gameplay and plot.

More OT: I have remembered another what the hell moment. Exploring "blue hell" in GTA: San Andreas was just one of those moments after another, with the incredibly weird jelly stuff you could swim in at the bottom, invisible walkways and platforms with NPCs just floating around on them, a chainsaw hovering far above me, and explorable cut-scene areas. Strangest glitch I've ever encountered.

Alan Wake. I still have no idea what the hell that game is about.
Duh!

It's about a writer writing a story about a writer having wrote a story that became real that becomes reality.

Or, depending on your interpretation, it's about a writer who wrote a story that became real and, in order to prevent the concequences of that, wrote about another writer that became real so he could write a story that became real in order to stop the evil thing that became real in the first place.

OR it's about two seperate instances of writers writing stories that become reality in wich the second one references and/or retcons the first one

OR it's about Sam Lakes Frustration with writing The Game you are playing

What's not to understand about that? ^^

Most of my WTF momens right now have to do with Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012. Either because it cut short my main phase before I put out a card, or by some rule that either is not apparent, or does not work as I think it should.

Metroid Other M. When that strange bunny thing actually turns out to be Ridley.

Biggest "What the hell" moment in any Nintendo game. And we're talking about a company whose most popular game involves a plumber that fights a fire breathing dragon turtle to save the universe from exploding.

Anyway, I prefer to think that Metroid Other M never existed. It preserves my sanity.
This for me. Also, I was shocked at how sexist the game was overall.

amnesia:the darkdecent when finally getting near the end
when one has found all the orb pieces and you can't find the last ingredient for Agrippa and you finally just think "meh, I've got the orb I don't need Agrippa" and go to the big brige room and BAM! monster in face ripping your guts out, and then and then the "dead screen" just says "and then you sleep..." until you wake up in a prison because appearently that was all supposed to happen... o.0

Wondering how on earth people get 300+ APM in Starcraft 2. That's five actions every second, I usually do about 60 and it feels like I'm going pretty flat out :p

I was playing morrowind a while back and as i was running across the badlands, something hit me from behind. I looked around but there was nothing there, which kinda wierded me out a bit.

I carried on going but I got hit again and as i turned around, nothing, again. Now I was starting to get really freaked out, so i legged it as fast as i could away from that area.

After a while i turned back around and saw the tail of a cliff racers swipe past my face. I looked up at the sky and saw a swarm of 20 or so cliff racers just floating above my head. I was like WTF!

I thought the suit was talking for him?
This is just my thoughts that they seemed to imply

It was implied that through the symbiosis, the suit actually kept most of prophet's conscious self, and that this was transferred partly to Alcatraz (a weak, almost dead, anonymous soldier) as the suit merged with his broken body. The fact that he has so many of Prophet's memories is part of what implies this shift. Also the "breaking the link" between Prophet and the suit was not completely successful, even with the suicide. And when you take into account all the changes in the nanosuit and its complexity in being able to hold those memories, it could easily "re-wire" the traumatized and damaged body and brain of Alcatraz to "become" Prophet, the previous wearer who had transferred so much of himself to the suit. That was the impression I got...

It just made sense, because
The suit would not likely respond to "what do they call you", but rather, the person(s) in it would, also the whole symbiosis thing with the suit could mean that the original data of the old wearer and the new wearer themselves form a semi-symbiotic relationship

Although with that ending it is hard to be sure :p
