I would also love to hear any details, What was the year? did your parents game with you? how old were you? What was the system? Did you ever stop gaming?

My parents bought my brother and I a nintindo in '88 or '87, so I would be 3 or 4. My dad thought video games were neat so he would play mario with us, but was never a "gamer". My first taste of video games was super mario brothers. with the exception of '97-'01, I have been an avid gamer my hole life. I can easily put a 70+ hours a week, but I usually clock in 20 to 40 hours, obviously when less when I have a girlfriend. there are times when I get burned out and won't evan look at the TV and others when I won't stop to eat and fall asleep with the controller in my hand.

Pokemon Stadium for the Nintendo 64 or the Super Mario for the NES. Can't remember which one my brothers introduced me to first.

ITT: Children.

OT: Street Fighter 2 on an arcade machine or Qbert on Atari. Toss up, I was pretty young.

Vice for regular Nintendo, I was too young to even play it. But, good god I loved it. (I was a toddler playing on my big brother's system. I would spend hours just playing the first 10 minutes of that game, dying then starting again.)

The first game I remember playing properly was Duck Hunt on the original NES.

Got them for Christmas at my first house. Good times :D

Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64. I was three, and I got the game and system for christmas. It was awesome. Call me a nostalgia blinded fool, but it is still one of my favorite games.

Reader Rabbit maths aged 6-9

If not, probably Pokemon blue on my GBA or another Educational game called Adi (Adii? something like that)

Loved those games :D

EDIT: Wait, forgot one, Donald Duck Quack attack. Although that probably came way after Reader Rabit.

God I hated that game... =(

Much preferred Sonic Chaos <3

No clue how old I was though, probably going back close to 20 years though.

And now I feel really old... =(

Duck hunt brings a smile to my face. It was bundled with our nes so it was also a first game for me. loved that dog!

The first game I "played" was either Super Mario World at a babysitter's house or Mario Kart 64 at my cousin's. I don't think I played long enough for it to count in either case though. Now, the first game I owned was Pokemon Snap.
