The last one I watched was Up, and it was FUCKING AMAZING! Seriously one of Pixar's best and that's saying something!

Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

One of the worst films I've ever seen in my life. But I got to complain about it later, so at least I got enjoyment out of it in some way.

The Wolverine. I enjoyed most of it, but every scene with Viper and the end of it were awful. By end, I mean the final confrontation, which was awful. I got a little crush on Yukio, I mean yeah, her head is odd but she just has such a good personality and the skills man, the skills.

I wanted the Silver Samurai to be in it so bad, but I knew it was not to be. Sigh....

Also, watched Primer. I don't even know, it was kinda hard to follow. Had to read some stuff on the internet to get a grip. It had a good premise and the acting was good, I would recommend it to scifi fans.

Tell No One. It's a French mystery/thriller film (the title in French is Ne le dis à personne).
It was excellent. There was an issue I had with it - the actor playing the main character looks and is far older than his wife, who he's meant to have been friends with in childhood. However, the actor (François Cluzet) does a great job. Putting that minor detail (and it really isn't that much of an issue) aside, it's a pretty damn well-executed thriller.

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade.
Probably my favourite movie in the entire Indiana Jones trilogy, which would make it one of my favourite movies ever. Will need to do a lot of rewatchings of it and Raiders of the Lost Ark back to back before I can be sure of that, a task I will take immense pleasure in performing.

then I listened to the DVD title screen for an hour because my friend was sleeping on the remote. Now the dvd title screen talking haunts me in my dreams.....and waking life....

Rambo: First Blood.
Given I was raised on action films from the 60's-90's... I thought it was stellar.

and I can also tell the next 8 movies I'll be watching.
All of them, Rambo: First Blood.

Just a little idea I had whilst scrolling through netflix as I am boring and only watch a couple of shows and always enjoy it regardless if it was good or not, but tell me, what did you last watch, and did you enjoy it?
The Cabin In The Woods, and...yeah, I think so. I dunno. It was clever, but it sure wanted to make sure you knew how clever it was being.

Also it had been sold to me on the premise of a "big twist", but said twist was fairly obvious from about the half-hour point. It isn't that the twist itself was bad or uninventive, because for a horror movie it was OK, the problem was that it was so obvious that I spent the rest of the movie waiting to see what the real twist was and wound up disappointed when one didn't appear.

Wolverine Origins (the newest one). I liked it, although the end result of the final fight was a bit stupid (won't spoil it if you haven't seen it).
Just to inject a note of pedantry here, Wolverine Origins is the first one, the latest one is just The Wolverine. This is because Origins is a prequel to the main X-series and The Wolverine is a sequel to it. And also because nobody wants to remember that Origins actually happened.

I quite enjoyed The Wolverine, compared to the other recent superhero movie I saw. It blew Man of Steel out of the water.

Chernobyl diaries was ok i guess. the very end was pretty terrible, but i liked the style of it. to summarise:

+ the fact that it never strays from one characters' viewpoint was really good for a horror, means that when people got separated you had no idea what happened to them until you saw them again later
+ you never properly saw the antagonists, very good for suspense and the sense of mystery
+ it isn't too farfetched

- the ending... oh god that ending. reminded me of a poor mans eden lake ending
- the characters are kinda dull
- it drops off too many characters too quickly in the final act
- camera gets far too shaky in chase scenes, which when also in poor lighting, made it hard to see anything at all

overall, i enjoyed it

I watched Alan Partridge Alpha Papa too, and I thought it was great. Occasionally quite cringey, but that's just what I'd expect. :p I liked it when he goes out on the rope and hams it up for the press.

I watched Gangster Squad the other night and thought it was really good. Maybe it was due to me putting it off for ages and having low expectations but I really liked it. It was a nice surprise!

The Hunger Games. Saw it when it was in cinemas, didn't like it due to the fact that it was too toned down (curse 12A ratings) and the first hour or so was needlessly dull. I did agree with the casting, though, and I do wanna see if they can make the second film better than the second book. Seriously, the 1st third of Catching Fire seemed to me like a Twilight fan-fic - awful.

The last film I saw that I hadn't seen before was Unbreakable. Very interesting take on finding out you had superpowers and the whole hero/villain psyche, has probably encouraged me to watch another of Shymalan's films despite the fact that they all look pretty dire. Might watch The Happening for the pure stupidity of it (and because Zooey Deschanel's kinda cute).

I saw Foodfight recently...wow was that some bad CG. But had my ass laughing so while it was bad, I enjoyed it. Any movie to get Charlie Sheen as a talking dog and Wayne Brady as a...some how more racist character then Jar Jar Binks is top tits in my book. Stop reading this get ten dollars go to your video store and buy this, it must be watched @_@.

Iron Man 3. Despite hating it originally, I watched it again on DVD thinking I might have been too harsh the first time, and it turns out I was.

Riddick it was OK.

Its tone was much more happy than the other two movies, which made it feel somewhat out of place in the series.
