I don't want the game to tell me what i'm doing is good or bad. Show me the consequences of my actions, don't tell me that what I did was evil because "it was bad". The Heretic Geth choice loses a lot of value when you attach Paragon/Renegade points to it. What should be a difficult choice no matter how you play the game is boiled down to a good/bad decision based on whether you're Paragon or Renegade.TheMetalGuy said:Personally i really like the: Paragon/Renegade system, because you know, what you are doing, and tells you, if your the biggest badass in the galaxy.Ladette said:I agree. It instantly sets something up as a good or bad choice, like the decision to rewrite or destroy the heretic Geth. Some choices are subjective.JourneyThroughHell said:Paragon/Renegade.
I think I've discussed that with somebody in the Halo fans group, but my opinion still stands that this morality system shit has to go.
Dragon Age didn't use a morality system and I felt the decisions were much better in that game because of it. By leaving a gray area you force the player to think the decision through and weight their options more heavily.
