What's the Best Soundtrack You Have Ever Heard in a Game

Mine would have to be the first level music from "I MA3D A GAM3 W1TH Z0MBIES 1N IT!!!1" XD Look it up, spend the 80 Microsoft Points.

I loved the music for sonic 3, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and the first game from the Half-life 2 quadrilogy (assuming ep 3 is the last one).

I also agree with Shadow of the Colossus. I never played the game and whether game music speaks to me is most often a matter of nostalgia and/or remembering a certain scene or mood along with the music, but SotC's OST touched me even though I've never played it (which I should, but that's another matter entirely).

Final Fantasy, ofc, but only the ones prior to FFX.

Sonic Mayhem scored the bulk of Quake II. Rob Zombie composed only the main theme (which was kickass too).
