My NES still works after...27 years?
The Atari and Intellivision MIGHT still work. I need a goofy pre-coax connection to test it.

I own a 360, a PS3, an x-box, a PS2, a gamecube, a N64, SNES and a few gameboy generations.

Got them all relativey fresh witht he exception of the SNES which was my first console. And only the x-box broke over time with the laser being unable to read the cd's anymore. The rest is still in perfectly fine working condition.

I had a PS2 one of the first few year it came out and didnt stop using it till almost a year after the PS3 came out.

Now as to how long ive had a console run without turning it off, my gamecube was one for abour 30 hours (getting that mewtwo in SSBM and then a few hours of custom robo) before i turned it off.

My PS1 is still going after what 15ish years? My PS 2 and Game Cube are about 8ish years old and still going strong and my 360 crapped out after about 5-6 years. Not bad for a launch 360 if I do say so myself.

my original gameboy (around 17years old) still somewhat functions assuming you fiddle around with the batteries until they connect properly but the save function doesn't seem to work anymore seeing the memory just resets after I shut down the power.

My Playstation, 1995 - long after humanity has become extinct judging by how sturdy my one is.

SNES has lasted about twenty years and it still works. Now, just to find that sneaky wee scart... anyway, I've also had my PS2 since early 2000s I think. PS1 a wee bit longer, likewise with my Gameboy Color! Though I haven't tried the former in donkeys.

I also still have "my" SNES (my now 29year old brother bought it, and gave it to my 22 year old brother, who then gave it to me).
And it works fine as ever. Still the same controllers and they also still work. Which is surprising considering how much anger and nerdchildrage they had to withstand.

Yea, same here. I think my Atari still works. I don't remember it breaking, but I have that dumb two prong thing also.

Haha, it's actually my 45 year old mother's! I've sort of claimed it mind... I think there's also an atari lying around somewhere. Actually, it was my great granda on my mum's side who got her and my aunt into gaming! Now I'm talking classic Pong and original atari. Hells. Yeah. As a matter of fact, the box the SNES was one is under my bed. Oh! And we have this scope thing, you might have it too?

First XBox 360 lasted 10 months.
The repair of that lasted 9 months.

So, I got a new one that lasted a year before it RRoD'd on me again.
The repair of that one lasted a year.

Got a new one again that lasted 11 months. That RRoD'd.
Fixed it then decided "Fuck this."

So, I trade that in for an 120GB Elite, a second hand console. That has lasted going on three years (I think three years, can't remember when I got it. :p) now with no RRoD's and just the odd "Cannot read disc" error.

Before that though, a N64 that survived for fuck knows how long before my dad binned it for no reason. (Some lucky fucker got a free N64 that day. XP) and before that, a PS2 that survived 9 years. My current second hand PS2 may be broken though, not really sure. :p
