Believe I bought my new PS2, after the first one broke down, around 2003. It should still work. I don't really use it anymore though.
Haha same thing with my original Ds , that thing was/is a freaking tank !Xenos Eriadin said:My oldest console is the Nintendo 64, which will be 13 years old this Christmas and is still alive and well. My original DS is another story. The top screen is hanging off so I have to be very delicate with it. But the damn thing refuses to break.
The only console that has broken completly is my Gamecube. It was a fighter, it died a slow, agonising death.![]()
Thank god the wii has backwards-compatibility.

My current Xbox has been in service the last 4 and a half years, and I'm going to retire it on the 20th, in favor of the new GoW3 Xbox.
My Xbox hardly reads discs anymore. That means my collection of games never work.Redryhno said:First off, may I say, you obviously either have money to burn or you like shiny things waaaaaay too much.w9496 said:Pretty self explanatory.

As for the thread content, my original NES still runs after having been used for over 20 years, my PSO is still working even though the only games I can still play on it I've become bored with after fifteen years and I've still got my GBO and GBC still up somewhere that I lost about a month ago, as for my shortest running console I have a PS2 I bought used and played for about 2 months before I got tired of the games, and am still playing my 360 after around 6 years
