Sometime 5-10 years ago (I forget the exact time), I was making a username for a game (wasn't runescape, but same kinda thing) and "trollman" was taken, so I became "trullman", dropped the man, and am now just Trull.

Which is unfortunate, because the literal meaning of "Trull" is female prostitute.

?I don?t know, put owt in?

And so it has been since the dawn of time (or for the last 13 years) that my username has been putowtin.

Well, there's no real meaning, I guess...
When I came up with it, I was trying to think of the most evil sounding name I could think of that still sounds like it could be an actual name.

Gundam Sentinel is a photo novel in the Gundam franchise (if you don't know what that is, more's the pity) and a very cool one at that.

The reason it's called Gundam Sentinel is that it's about Task Force Alpha, which acts as a watchful sentinel during one of the brief interbelli (does that even have a plural? Whatever...) in the Universal Century timeline. One could also argue that it's related to the protagonist's robot, called the S Gundam (which actually stands for Superior Gundam (a very suitable name, all things considered ^^)).

Used it as my username for pretty much anything gaming related for years (PSN, Steam, you name it).

"Leadfinger" is my handle in airsoft. I earned this sobriquet one fine afternoon by unloading an 800 round AK mag in a 10 minute skirmish.

My username for most things is Craft-dinner, I got it when I went to my friend phill's house once when we we're kids and they were having KD for supper. It was my first time having KD so his brother's started calling me KD then I put a c instead of K and now I have my username as Craft-dinner as my first name starts with a c.

Back in middle school, a friend and I split a world map into two sides for us to rule over when we grew up. We come up with fake names as well. Baron Uberstein was mine.

Then I used that name for years in a nation roleplay, and it was basically the only way I identified online. I left that community for 2 years and returned under a different username, and people still call me "Ubie". :p

The name of the main character, both the English and Japanese versions.

Terra (ENG) + Tina (JAP) = Terratina.

I actually wanted the name Two Bears High Fiving, but it wouldn't fit. Imagine, you see a guy in a bear suit walking around been a dick, so you pull his zip, and inside is a giant wolf who mauls your arm off and uses it to slap you while calling you names

Jdog(Jrod if I had my way) - nick of my first name.
Twodolla - nick of my last name.

Other people came up with those and I decided why not.

A friend of mine gave me the nickname Squidgy as she used to give out a lot of hugs and thought that my hugs had 'a pleasing squidge' to them. I added the Techno part when I found out there were a ton of other people going by the name Squidgy, and at the time I was quite into techno.

As far as I'm aware I'm still the only TechnoSquidgy about.

I tried making "MartianFightingMachine" on one site, but that was taken, so I put "MartianWarMachine" instead, and then I used it everywhere. All hail Jeff Wayne!

Its the first and last letters of my given name, middle name, and surname. Thats it really. I use it because its always available, and I dont need random letters or numbers. The only problem is i've ever had was the last part of my name being censored on some sites because of this: read the second entry [http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=nbr]. But its a rare occurrence, and people done seem to know that meaning (I sure didnt)

Back when I used to play Spore, I called one of my very first creations a "scorpatious".

I decided to create a Youtube account with the name, only to find out that I accidentally added a "t" after the "p". It stuck however, so I decided to use that username in almost every site I go to.

And that's how I became known as scorptatious!
