Wind or Electricity, hopefully both. Wind, for Sailing Ships, and Electricity to power machines.

I'm thinking Steam Punk: Age of Sails - Atlantis sort of thing.

Unobtainium, just to use it to kill those blue sons of bit...

Sorry about that, I'd like to be in control of fire, or ice, or wind I guess.

I really would be happy with any of them, just for how cool it would be and the fact I could totally show off.
You need to see this. [http://www.atom.com/funny_videos/avatar_d_boners/]

And I would choose physics in its entirety.

If I couldn't use that, is lightning an element?

Ice, so water, I guess. The problem with water is that it could extend into steam, which I hate. I'm more of a strict cold person myself.
Francis: I hate Steam.

Zoey: Steam is okay.

Left 4 Dead is awesome. Especially when Valve references itself.

I choose Francium....

Damn, I was going to choose Francium.
very well, I'll go with Fluorine, That way I can render you inert (after the very spectacular reaction).

Either that or Krypton, in case superman turns up...

Electromagnetism. You could use it to turn invisible, walk through solid objects, fly, deflect bullets and all other kinds of craziness.
Electromagnetism is a force, not an element. Ergo, YOUR WRONG!
Also, even if you could pick electromagnetism, you would be defeated easily by someone who picks a nobel gas, as they are completly inert...

Metal or Air.

I like to build things so Metal would work.

Air can cause some serious damage with pressure changes and items going past people at supersonic speeds (Bleeding eardrums anyone).

1. Captain Planet comment is an automatic winner.
B. For Francium, I wouldn't mix with the water guys...
C. I choose ice, because it's cool.
5. I did that on purpose

I am stuck between fire and electricity. Fire would be fun for all the obvious pyro reasons. Electricity would be fun to arc it like force lightning. Closest thing to actually being a Jedi Knight, or Sith if that's your thing.

Water. I could just spend hours and hours in water and I get to have a rubber ducky to float.

Specifiing elements would be helpful. if were going by anything, then Darkness for sure. but if its jsut the "original four" then fire.

Light? I don't know.

Nothing destructive, anyway. Water could be neat, I suppose.

Or if I didn't mind being destructive, there's always air, munchkin-y though it may be. Bit of air in someone's blood can work wonders. Same can be said for water, mind, but anyway.

Water, and ice and steam are givens ... like water bending in 'The last Airbender'. Except I'd be so much more powerful. I can just imagine:
Late for School? Speedy-water-spout travel!
Irritated by someone? Ice wall between you and him/her
Can't reach the cookie jar? Use your handy-dandy water-hand to grab it for you.
Bored? Make a floating pool that has no walls!

Definitely water. Why go to Sea World when the river two blocks from your house suddenly travels at 50 mph?

Also it is the most useful for showing off.

I'd not really care.
At first, I'd say fire, but the smell of burning flesh, I could never get used to.

Air, so I can fly, pretty much have force push/pull, suffocate people just by looking at them wrong and blow hot girls skirts up.

Air power would draw the least amount of attention too, so I can be hell covert!

Fire because I play the pyro in teamfortress2. And you could keep your hands warm on cold winter days, or lightning, if that counts, because you can start fires with that.

I quite like Hydrogen...

On a serious note probably fire; pure, non judgemental, powerful, beautiful, destructive yet humanity can't live without it. It goes where it can exist not where it's constructed to go and can fuel almost anything one way or another

So yeah few qualities there that sum me up
