What's your favorite valve game?

Half life, counter strike, team fortress, half life opposing force, half life blue shift, riccochet, counter strike condition zero, counter strike scource, half life scource, half life 2, half life 2 deatmatch, half life deathmatch scource, half life 2 episode 1, half life 2 episode 2, team fortress 2, portal, and left 4 dead. My favorite is obviously portal.

I'd say Portal, closely followed by HL2. I've completed Portal at least three times (Last time in just over an hour), and have completed all the advanced chambers, and Portal Prelude. So I might be just a bit obsessed.

OP: I'll say L4D. because it's the only multiplayer game by valve that I have...

I swear that this thread has been done before but I personally don't get arsey about repeat threads.

I've never been a fan of Valve but I will admit that I at least had fun with Left 4 Dead (flawed as it was it still had zombies, gore and violence, three things which annoy my girlfriend...which can be incredably funny) so that would claim the position of being my favourite (although this is saying that it's the best of a mediocre bunch).

i have yet to play any of them.

i am toying with the idea of getting the orange box, because i am most interested in team fortress 2, and that just seems like a better deal.

It's pretty good, probably worth the low price, but IMO not as fun as TF2 or CS:S.

As for me, I'd say Half-life 2 for first-time playthrough, TF2 for right now.
