You cider drinkers! Weaklings! But no, I'm very contemptuous of brand name cider these days (Kopparberg/Magners/Strongbow etc. etc.) largely because the only ciders I drink are Somerset/West Country locally brewed dries. That's proper cider (12% ish).

I like beer, preferably a tasty kind. I don't really have a go to beer.

My favorite's probably Carlsberg, although we usually have Stella Artois in our fridge (though currently, it's pint sized bottles of Czech imported Budweiser.)

OT: As a boy I was called the coke kid (the drink!) so, cola, sweets and any sort of alcohol. I find if you don't tie yourself to one "addictive" thing it's easier not to get bogged down and hooked.

Wow. A lot of people seem to like Coke as a mixer. I don't understand why people like it as a mixer, perhaps they never tried anything else?

Eh, it's the rookie's lifeblood. Alcohol wise, I tend to through stuff back neat, due to being under the required age o'purchase, but when I get my ID and am 18, I'm going to start mixing some shit. Starting with these:

Be fair! I only started the conversations in two places... and one of them was because you PM'd me! Also, the bed thread was an ongoing one...(!)

And no, Homo necans is an alternative name for 'human' that translates to 'the Killing Man' as opposed to Homo sapiens which translates to 'the Wise Man'.

And now that I think on it... I do like a glass of pinot noir now and then, though I developed a taste for 1:1 cheap white wine and apple juice when I lived in halls.
