I recently found this video of a deer getting pretty aggressive, I search bar approved this but maybe I might have missed a previous topic about it..

Anyway, heres the video:

I don't normally....or ever....say things like this, but that video was....upsetting. If that happened to me I'd probably run towards it and make lots of noise, maybe hit it with something. I understand that deer are pretty easy to scare.

As for stories of animal attacks, I thankfully don't have any.

That video reinforces my stance on hunting. It was upsetting watching it attack that dog, and i don't even like dogs.

I've only been attacked by an animal once, and it was a dog.
Unfortunately, I had to kill it, because it's bites fucking hurt, and no matter what I did, it wouldn't stop attacking me.

Dude, that deer was worried for it's child. Also, the blame lies with humans. If they didn't build every forest full with luxurious homes, deer would never fucking come in contact with dogs.

Although it looks harsh, remember the deer was protecting its young. It could have easily mistaken the dog for a bigger threat such as a wolf. The guy filming this has gotten loads of harsh comments because he didn't run in and save the dog but really, if you saw a deer beating up a dog you'd be scared for your own hide

There was a deer about 20 feet away from me yesterday. A whitetail, to be specific.

You could just find your self on the receiving end of that beating if you did. Most of the time deer run away, but as you can see they don't always run.

OT: The deer would have been dead. I wouldn't have to worry about hitting anyone where where I live and I would have just shot it. Aggressive deer trying to kill my dog, no way.

So what? You're not allowed to protect yourself or your pets because that deer is trying to protect it's young? Your not allowed to feel sad for the animal that was nearly beaten to death because there was a fawn down the road aways?

I can't stand animals being hurt. If that deer were to look at my dog funny I would have rushed it with my iron fire poker. I wouldn't even think, I would not stand for even a millisecond to see it. I'd have fucking brained that deer, then probably throw up.

Seeing something attacking family will not be tolerated for even a fucking second. I can not and will not tolerate that. Who ever tries to bring about harm on my family will know my god damn wrath.

This is one thing I will not fucking tolerate regardless.

It's severely wounded 2 foxes, a deer like you, and killed 2 fishers.
