He should have quit 40 years ago.

I hear all this stuff about how the prequels were awful, and the originals great. That is bullcrap. They were all bad.

How was something like ESB as bad as something like TPM? Is it the universe Lucas created, or something else?

2. Lucas had the "bright idea" in Episodes 1-3 that he'd take the best take of each actor and digitally compile them together. This is why it seems no one really reacts to one another and everyone looks like they're speaking in soliloquy, they're talking to someone who isn't there.
SNIP
I did not know that, but it explains a lot. All the actors seem to be either really horrible actors, or like they have been tricked into doing those movies and are just going through the motions. Now I know why.

-Not the entire focus on Anakin.
ok so who DO you focus on considering the movie HAD to deal with Anakin and focus on him.

not focusing on Anakin is kinda like not focusing ep 4,5 and 6 on Luke

and for those of you complaining about Jar-Jar and how dumb he was, let me point out C3P0 and R2-D2 were both consider horrible in original triology, Luke being a close second

if you don't believe me about the droid thing just watch the Simpsons where they have the commercial that says "watch the gay robots from star wars (C3P0 and R2-D2 shown) vs the cool robots of Battlestar Galatica (original cylons shows)"

I don't think he should stop - the prequels weren't completely bad, and who knows, he might make some great stuff in the future (although like somebody mentioned, I think he pretty much has stopped already).

Howard the Duck?? Bloody hell, I haven't heard that mentioned in a long long time. I think I'm gonna have to track down a copy for nostalgia's sake.

Now, I'm off to have some drinks and watch the star wars holiday special.

I barely read the first post after seeing the immense run-on sentence that was your intro.
As much as you'd like to stop him, you can't, so deal.
If his material is becoming unbearable then here's an amazing thought, Don't watch it!
That's why I didn't watch creepy children positioned animated garbage, Oh wait it was called The Clone Wars movie, I keep forgetting.

I said not the "entire" focus...Sheesh.
Even the cast around George Lucas said "He shoudn't had focused too much on Anakin".
We never saw that conversation between Obi-Wan and Ghost Qui-Gon.

They did not only focused on Luke on the orignals. What about Han? Leia? Vader?
