I work as security at a petroleum refinery.
Have you had anybody try to break into those before? I feel as if a security guard for a petroleum refinery is necessary but I don't know of anyone that would actually try to rob a petroleum refinery, besides people from movies.
Its more of a protection against terrorist threats and making sure no one takes anything in or outside the refinery.

I used to be a broker but I left the company late last year, my wife and I picked up our sixth house and I am now full time running our property management company. Things are good, going to pick up probably two to four more in three years and make the move to commercial properties in five.

I'm an IT Technician doing support work from networks to hardware, with a fare amount of active directory thrown in for good measure. About a third of my time is devoted to special projects which could involve anything from audio recording voice over artists, to do doing screen capture instructional videos.

I work for a company that is starting to go international, so exciting times!

I work at a small boutique store that is similar to what Hot Topic was 15 years ago which I also used to work for. I also have a side job where I do featured extra work in movies and TV shows. I used to do that a lot, but since the SAG and writers strikes work has been infrequent with a couple exceptions. Especially since now that everyone is unemployed, everyone is trying to work as extra's. So now we have more people than openings on every job. I'm just glad that my distinct appearance gives me an advantage for some jobs.

I currently work as a Parts Technician for the heavy duty industry. Tractor trailers, semi trucks, long haulers etc. I leave my job feeling like my avatar because of the idiocy I see within my field. It is a apprenticeship and I am within my last year which is why I have stuck it out. 6 more months and I can get my ticket saying I am a journeyman and then go on to something better. Maybe back to being a medic in the oilfield(Alberta, Canada) or a degree in geology. I always liked the earth and minerals.

I went to the Ranked Third best school in the country for Video Production (like film and television). Graduated with a bachelor's degree just in time to feel the wrath of the economy crash. I freelance production and post production work, but my stable job is working at a gas station.

On the other hand I have yet to make a salary that can't defer my student loans. Sallie Mae might never get her money.
