Elveon. I remember finding it when I was hunting around for a new game. I really liked the idea but it had already been cancelled by the time I found it. Depressing because it had a lot of potential I think.

Star Wars Battlefront 3: I remember reading about it a few years ago and it looked like it had some cool features like being able to fly a starship from a planet into a space battle. I haven't heard anything bout it in years and I assume it's canceled.

Fear and Respect: D-O-double G-Y D-O-double G ya see. Looked like GTA San Andreas with Snoop Dogg which is could only have been made better with the presence of Dr. Dre.

Fully agree with you. Instead they decided to leave us with a semi cliffhanger D:
Well, only sort of. If you've played Xenogears, then you know what Lost Jerusalem was like - it was the planet there. Basically, the opening animated sequence of Xenogears gets ret-conned into the entire Xenosaga series. Thereafter, it works fine.

After all, that's why Jin had to die - so he could go along and get reincarnated as Citan.

Fei and Elly are accounted for as Able and Nephilim.

Kevin becomes Krellian, Wilheim becomes Cain.

And the rest of the cast takes care of itself (mostly being reincarnations of people born later).

So you CAN play Xenogears as a direct sequel. Also, after you've played through all of Xenosaga, a lot of the stuff in Xenogears makes more sense. Instead of going "huh?" you're going "Oh crap, there's **insert thing from Xenosaga**!" Good times. ^^

Mother 3 (Earthbound 64). I was so hyped when I heard about this, but when it was cancelled I was so disapointed.

I wanted to see how Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain Slicked Precipice of Darkness was to conclude, unfortunately, they cancelled episode 3, so I'll have to do without.

I know, but it would be nice to know what happens directly after episode 3, and how the entire saga ends. I believe Xenogears is the 5th game in the series.

The Milo Project for Kinect. It looked like it made the most use out of any game for the Kinect, plus the intelligence of Milo himself, and how making any decision for him shaped his personality really intrigued me.

Sadly the idea was sold.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 3. Never played the first two because I can't seem to find them, but I hear they were quite good. And I bet that they would include a remake if they did make this game.
Lo, I bring you gifts!

OT: Sorry, I can't think of any, usually the stuff that gets cancelled never makes much of a buzz in the first place, although beyond good and evil 2 seems to be on its way out.
Wrong Baldur's Gate. He meant the one on the consoles. They were quite good. Gamestop usually has Dark Alliance 2 in stock but finding Dark Alliance is a pain. Although, Dungeon Siege 3 just came out and it is the same kind of game. Great if you are wanting to do 1-4 player local co-op. (BG:DA is 1-2 players)

Here is a blown up image of the box art:

There were two planned sequels for Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, but both were cancelled due to the studio shutting down. That's sad...

The sequel to the glorious Republic Commando aka Imperial Commando... I don't even know why it got the axe seeing as Republic Commando was amazing... I still weep to this day.

Also Advent Rising 2 and 3 would be nice the story wrapped me in and then left me with the bluest balls of all time...

A sequel to psi-ops the mindgate conspiracy on the PS2 and original Xbox would have been nice. It wasn't really cancelled but they didn't want to bother making a sequel because it didn't sell very well which is a shame because it was actually quite good. :(. Plus the ending had a big fat "To Be Continued" sign on it.

Actually, all three Xenosaga games are pre-Episode 1 (or lead up to Xenosaga 3 being Episode 1, depending on how you interpret the Perfect Works), so there were at least 3 more episodes between Xenosaga 3 and Xenogears.

I'd love a game about Kim (Episode 3), or Sophia (Episode 4). For that matter, I'd still like a sequel to Xenogears (Episode 6).

Actually, I'm honestly shocked that no one is doing this. Yes, the team for Xenosaga 2 blew their budget and proved they couldn't handle making games, but still - new team, new game.

I mean, once you were into the actual Xenogears episodes, you could literally kill the entire cast at the end of each game, and reintroduce them (via reincarnation) in the next installment. That means total freedom with the story and writing. None of that "you know the main cast has to survive cause they're in the next game" stuff.

Oh well.

Oh, I'd also like the game between Xenosaga 2 and Xenosaga 3. They released a Japanese I-Phone version, but getting a translation (or translated Lets Play) of that is like turning Lead into Gold.

Half life 2 Episode 3.
Oh hush. they'll get around to it. And if we haven't died of old age by the time it happens, well more power to us.

OT: Starcraft ghost.
I think I was like 12 when it was announced and it was my very first pre-order. I still have that reciept somewhere... ah, memories.

A sequel to Metal Arms: Glitch in the System

Veautiful Joe 3

Can't think of others off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's tons more.

Beyond Good & Evil 2
Not positive, but I'm pretty sure that's still happening, as of now.
