I have a fond place in my heart for any of the ancient gods. The stories back then were really creative, sometimes a bit disturbing and awkward, but really creative.

Agenor I use it always when I can as my chater account name (Greek: Ἀγήνωρ, gen.: Ἀγήνορος; English translation: "heroic, manly")

Vidar, unlike Odin and Thor and the rest he actually survives Ragnarok... and rips Fenrir in half, from his mouth to his tail! Thats right, he is the God of Vengeance!

Alternatively I choose Arkay, the Mortal's God. The scourge of all undead and Necromancy, the giver of life and the eternal balance of Neutrality.

Hood.
Anyone else? Huhm.... Oh, yes, Mael.
Mael before Hood, actually.
Mael ftw.
I like Mael. :]
So yes.
Mael.

(These gods are from The Malazan Book of the Fallen, btw. Gogo, read it.)

Thor, hands down the best one... No god, can even match the awesomeness of Thor... Or well... No god can even match the awesomeness of any Norse God.
I choose Odin! Norse gods are the mightiest of them all!
Somehow this made me imagine the Norse gods as Pokemon...

My favourite is Annoia, the Goddess of Things That Get Stuck In Drawers.

The Abrahamic God, as told by the Jewish holy texts. He was all about justice and fairness and all the good stuff, and was not afraid to punish the Hebrews multiple times for their transgressions, just as easily as He would other nations who did evil things. Love was more a tertiary thing for Him at the time.

This coming from a Christian who prefers things done Old Testament style.
I'd hardly call the God of the Old Testament just or fair, half of what he does is pretty despicable.

OT: Probably the sun. Heat, light, actual existence (even if it isn't a God), seems more rational to like than a hammer-wielding, oak-loving buffoon.

Athena, the most badass Goddess ever, aside from maybe Kali. Athena is so cool and I don't know why but she just is. She seems like a badass but also a resonable Goddess.

And I know people hate Athena because of what happened with Medusa, but that story has been changed about so many times. I never looked at Medusa as this innocent girl who was raped by Posiedon, I always thought she gave herself willinly to Poseidon. Either way Athena turned Medusa ugly with the ability to turn men to stone, so with that said, didn't Athena do Medusa a favour? I mean, no more rape is something right?

Yeah I'm thinking far too deep into this, but I love mythology.

Greek and Norse (minus all the white supremacy)

It's funny that the most believed gods (Yahweh, Allah) are the least interesting story-wise.

Wednesday, the way he was in "American Gods", because the only way to make Odin cooler is put him in a suit and turn him into a conman.

Oh, that's very easy.
Ba'al from Stargate SG1. That guy is totally awesome! You can't be a proper God without a sense of humour.
