I know man. Now you get called a hater if you think that Insane Clown Posse isn't as emotionally wise as their fans think they are, or that Taylor Swift's lyrics might not be the same caliber as Shakespeare.Clearing the Eye said:Haters gonna hate.
What it once meant: people with a hateful and negative predisposition are going to insult, mock and be generally behave negatively towards a group of people, especially minorities, no matter how innocent said group is and no matter how much they rationally argue for their side.
What it means now: valid criticism gonna get passive aggressive response.
It seem to me that if people know you're a troll, you failed at trolling; anyone using lines like "umad bro" "cool story bro" "OPs a f**" "trololol" are really missing the point, they're basically saying "Hey look at me! I'm a troll! you can just ignore me because I'm a troll!". You have to be subtle, and you have to seem genuine; that is how you really mess with people "troll softly" as some people put it.Dangit2019 said:Trolling as a joke. Not trolling as in actually trolling, because that can actually be funny; but when you get in an actual argument about real things (in real life), and the person losing says "u mad bro?", it just feels like the ultimate cop-out in debate. There's just so much overuse in that meme.
A good meme doesn't care about bothering peopleTopazFusion said:Memes eh?Nah, memes don't actually bother me that much. I'm fine with them.![]()

Yep, that's why I always love it when 4chan's /b/ trolls new members and kids who shouldn't be on there. Including the image that says if you search "lolita" into a site called imagefap.com they'll be able to fap like crazy. Whenever it's posted, a bunch of new members who have no idea what they're doing and think being on /b/ is "cool" and "rebellious" do it, then see a big warning saying you have been recorded as a pedophile and the FBI shall be coming to apprehend you soon.geK0 said:It seem to me that if people know you're a troll, you failed at trolling; anyone using lines like "umad bro" "cool story bro" "OPs a f**" "trololol" are really missing the point, they're basically saying "Hey look at me! This girl I sit next to during IT class put a random troll face with the caption "LOL U JUST GOT TROLLED!" on her crappy powerpoint maze game which we had to make (goddamn I hate English IT classes). I saw this, and decided to make a game that's so incredibly frustrating and devilishly weird you just had to get mad playing it. I didn't mention trolling whatever, and I made the game look as innocent as possible. Basically, you had to put your mouse over a tiny few pixel area square in the corner to actually win, if you scrolled over the box that said "Finish" it just took you back to the start. Lets just say, when the bastard played the game she become enraged!Dangit2019 said:Snip
So basically, you hate tautology used as a joke?omega 616 said:I don't know if it's a meme per se but that one where it basically repeats it's self ...
Such as "hateful comment is hateful" ... well no shit! Hateful comment is pleasant just doesn't make sense.
You, sir, deserve a medal. That's some old school trolling.ToastiestZombie said:This girl I sit next to during IT class put a random troll face with the caption "LOL U JUST GOT TROLLED!" on her crappy powerpoint maze game which we had to make (goddamn I hate English IT classes).
