Haters gonna hate.

What it once meant: people with a hateful and negative predisposition are going to insult, mock and be generally behave negatively towards a group of people, especially minorities, no matter how innocent said group is and no matter how much they rationally argue for their side.

What it means now: valid criticism gonna get passive aggressive response.
I know man. Now you get called a hater if you think that Insane Clown Posse isn't as emotionally wise as their fans think they are, or that Taylor Swift's lyrics might not be the same caliber as Shakespeare.

Captcha: Who's offering 5 new salads at $6.99?

Like I would know! Sorry if I don't analyze the menus and commercials of every chain restaurant.

"The cake is a lie meme". Its almost as bad as the the Skyrim arrow to the knee one but at least the popularity of both has crashed. And yeah +1 to Dolan as well if I can, I seriously just find it weird.

Guys pls.

*gets flame shield* Dolan comics are the only ones I find funny...
Am I a horrible person?

I think 'U mad bro?' is up there, it's now become what Youtube commenters say when they realise they don't know what they're talking about.

Trolling as a joke. Not trolling as in actually trolling, because that can actually be funny; but when you get in an actual argument about real things (in real life), and the person losing says "u mad bro?", it just feels like the ultimate cop-out in debate. There's just so much overuse in that meme.
It seem to me that if people know you're a troll, you failed at trolling; anyone using lines like "umad bro" "cool story bro" "OPs a f**" "trololol" are really missing the point, they're basically saying "Hey look at me! I'm a troll! you can just ignore me because I'm a troll!". You have to be subtle, and you have to seem genuine; that is how you really mess with people "troll softly" as some people put it.

People saying 'haters gonna hate' at just about any form of critisism towards their prefered medium.

Other than that, none.

Pretty much every rage face except the FUUU face, that actually shows rage. Rage comics used to be really funny, short and sweet 4 panel comics that showed funny unfortunate situations. Now, with the rise of faces for every single fucking emotion in the world they've turned into normally tl:dr comics of overused shit and unfunny jokes.

Memes eh?

Nah, memes don't actually bother me that much. I'm fine with them.
A good meme doesn't care about bothering people

OT: I wouldn't get rid of any. They don't bother me really

Also, why all the Dolan hate? Gooby pls

Yep, that's why I always love it when 4chan's /b/ trolls new members and kids who shouldn't be on there. Including the image that says if you search "lolita" into a site called imagefap.com they'll be able to fap like crazy. Whenever it's posted, a bunch of new members who have no idea what they're doing and think being on /b/ is "cool" and "rebellious" do it, then see a big warning saying you have been recorded as a pedophile and the FBI shall be coming to apprehend you soon.

I don't know if it's a meme per se but that one where it basically repeats it's self ...

Such as "hateful comment is hateful" ... well no shit! Hateful comment is pleasant just doesn't make sense.

As for 9gag, it just gets hated on 'cos it copied some other sites ... personally I think it's better than reddit. With reddit you have to click to open the fucking story which is always boring as hell or just plain meh, 9gag you just scroll down and find the odd gem.

Yeah, now the popular method of trolling is
1. Use blatant insults
2. Wait for people to take offence to blatant insults
3. Post "u mad bro"
4. Victory

It's just so redundantly stupid. What if you did that in real life? Just insulted people and then told them they were stupid because of their offence to the insult? You would get the crap beaten out of you almost every time.

But I guess that just proves John Gabriel's Greater Internet F***wad Theory:

#YOLO has got to go. The phrase has become a way to justify poor judgement. "Oh well I know I shouldn't drink and drive but..YOLO swag" Crashes car, kills puppy. End of story.

This girl I sit next to during IT class put a random troll face with the caption "LOL U JUST GOT TROLLED!" on her crappy powerpoint maze game which we had to make (goddamn I hate English IT classes). I saw this, and decided to make a game that's so incredibly frustrating and devilishly weird you just had to get mad playing it. I didn't mention trolling whatever, and I made the game look as innocent as possible. Basically, you had to put your mouse over a tiny few pixel area square in the corner to actually win, if you scrolled over the box that said "Finish" it just took you back to the start. Lets just say, when the bastard played the game she become enraged!

You, sir, deserve a medal. That's some old school trolling.
