Pretty sure she will be ready a month or two after launch, I think I remember reading that somewhere.

I want to use Axton, although after reading the skills in the skill trees, zero looks like he is going to be a by far the best one in the game.

It sounds like if you choose to melee, you will be over powered. If you choose to shoot, you will be overpowered. The others seems about even with each other but zero gets so many plus damage things!

Will have to wait and see though, wont I?

I'm going with Maya (because I played Lilith in the first one), but for co-op with my friends, either Zero or Gaige, I haven't decided yet.
Most likely Zero though as one of my friends has expressed interest in Gaige too.

I hated Lilith so not Maya. I feel obligated to play as Axton since I loved Roland but he IS kind of boring. Zer0 seems badass but I'm playing alone and I don't see how he could pack enough power for my liking. So that leaves a toss-up between Axton and Salvador. If Salvador has a skill tree for combat rifles then he's my man.

Salvador. Dual pistols all the way. Mostly because, looking through his skill trees, just about everything that has to do with combat has a picture that somehow involves pistols. Even his only gun-specific skill has to do with pistols.

I probably won't use only pistols but... if I can find a steady stream of them...

Maya. because Sirens are fun. I had tons of fun playing as Lillith and I want to try another variation on those powers.
Second playthrough, Zero for sure.
