Who else cried at the end of Toy Story 3

My father cried at the end of Toy Story 3. This is a man who I can count the number of times I've seen cry on one hand.

We went to see it as a family, I was crying within about five minutes when they mentioned Bo Peep. My mother was apparently crying from the beginning because she recognised Andy as being a lot like me. (I was one of the original Toy Story kids, I even had the original Buzz Lightyear and Woody toys.)

I hold this as the greatest series of movies ever made, bar none.

I didn't cry, but I did get that stingy eye feeling you get before you cry. And I can safely say Toy Story 3 is the only movie to ever get me that close to breaking down in tears.

No my eyes were just relly sweaty and it was uh... raining too.
Yeah, I know right that crazy indoors raining...

OT: I was really chocking up and getting tears in my eyes. It was really close though.

I didn't cry, but I did have those feelings of sadness and also happiness to an extent.

I cried along with my best friend in the theater, then cried twice on the drive home, having to pull the car over in the process to give/get a hug.

Was there something I missed cause all I did when I saw this thread title was scoffing...loudly.
I honestly can't see why people thought it was so great, I thought it was good at best but not something one would cry over, and that whole almost dying part which apperantly has never happened in movies before....oh wait, yes it has! In almost every adventure/action movie there's this one bit where everyone thinks the hero is dead and everyone gets sad then lo and behold he was'nt and when this happened in Toy Story 3 it didn't exacly shock me, to be honest I was starting to wait for it!

I wasn't crying, there was something in my eye that caused it to water, and my throat was itchy so I made sobbing sounds. For fifteen minutes.

You have to remember that the trilogy is over 10 years old . Quite a few people (myself included ) grew up with this stuff , so we're already emotionally attached to the characters.
I understand What you mean and I myself did aswell see the first movie when I was young but mabye im being to harsh here, again I understand why one would cry, it is sad at the end but I have a very short attention span and when I haven't seen a sequel for more then 10 years one tends to loose interest. Once more before I get flamed for being an emotioless twat, I understand where your'e coming from but im not the type of person who would cry over a movie.

I got a bit misty eyed but its mostly just nostalgia. The end of a memorable and moving story is always a cause for sadness.

Almost, but not quite. I came terrifyingly close, but.....Not quite.
This.
I didn't really cry, but I came incredibly close. I was really trying my best to hold back. Mainly because I went to the theater and I didn't want to leave the theater crying after watching a kids movie.

Most the people who cried are people 20? and under because this is one of those movies that defined this generation and it came to full swing for most of us in the 16-20 year old range who grew up with the trilogy.
